I must admit, I started squealing and clapping my hands along with Bill when Tom started laying on the sugar!
I'm glad this chapter was just a bit more cheerful and lighthearted (save for a few bits, which were completely necessary) than previous ones. It made me smile like a doofus throughout. :) I'd love to see what you have in store for our Pagan boy, and how Tom's family will react to him. (Good, I hope? His mother didn't seem to mind when she spoke to Tom in the market.)
As always, looking forward to future chapters. :)

Amazing, just as before. I love the fact that you can create such fantastic mental images with so little detail--and fantasitc characters, just the same. I already feel as though I know so many of the people Tom's come into contact with despite the pleasantly minimal focus being put on them.
I adore your writing style. :)
(By the way, I just read your Author Response two reviews down--you're gonna make Bushido a jerk!? Noo... sobsniffle. I guess I'll just have to trust you and where you're going with the story, because thus far, you haven't let me down. Just... be gentle! Haha!)
