So, finally I read it all! And oh, I just love this, have longed for a new chapter for such a long time, you have no idea how glad I was to see you posting again! (and as you write such a long chapters, I pretend it's many, read part by part and makes them last longer. No, I'm not sane ;-) )
I have said it before, but J remindes me so much about my Saga, x10 of course, but still, it's like you write about her at times, and it's both very entertaining and a bit worring. I love the part here with Bill, too. Have you talked with someone with a really bad case of aphasia? I don't mean just confused and over all lost, but the real thing? I know Bill is medicated and well, his brain doesn't work that well here, but it really is like that talking to someone who suffers from aphasia, it's hard not to laugh, and hard not to cry.

I'm glad that Jacie is finally greeting committed, he needs some time with Vas.
They all are ferrying the help they need and with doctors who can "handle" them in what ever capacity.

I'm definitely loving having Tom and Bill on such different drugs, and their reactions to them. This is so obviously well-researched, too. You're doing a GREAT job, and I can't wait for more!

I've started to re-read this amazing work here and there, just diving into whatever chapter I click on. Your skill and talent never cease to amaze me. Obviously you are incredibly astute and knowledgeable on a huge variety of topics, and that makes for such an incredibly intellectually satisfying read. After fishing around the last several weeks for a really good story, I've become a little despondent. I think I've read all the first tiers, and the second tiers just really....well, they're okay, but they're flat and leave me feeling like I've eaten a dinner of cotton candy, or watched Jersey Shores, or something equally unhealthy. Mirror Images... it's amazing, and I can't help but keep telling you that. Going from psychoanalysis to vis kei (where's Miyavi! Okay so he's not vis kei anymore but damn....) to poor Jacie's complete breakdown - each chapter is so packed with information, and you don't skimp or skim. And you use Big People words! Thank you! It's so nice to feel like an educated grown up, when being on this site, as fun as it is, occasionally makes me feel like I'm a freak lurking at a high school gathering. It's the first tier that make coming here addictive. And this story tops them all, every single one. (right under yours is King of Kingz, and I wonder if you've gotten around to that one yet... Also, Tinie's Rolling the Dice is just wonderfully weird) and of course there are a bunch of shorties that are fantastic, then a bunch of really good ones that were never finished (Leichenwasserrrrr!!!! Arrrrgh!) But still, none compare. So, I've jumped back into this one. Which means that I'm ignoring writing my own chapter, which sits, open, on another page. If I wrote one tenth as fantastically as you do, I could never stop, especially in a world like MI. It would consume me. Well, obviously, at over a million words and several years of work, you've got something going on with this one. Anyway, I ramble because what I'd really like is someone sitting in my living room, having a discussion about this story, dissecting it, analysing it, comparing favorite parts. Well, maybe I'd really just rather go back to reading....

Also, I've read many, many fics, and this is only the second story where I have completely enjoyed reading about the OCs. (The other is "As Close as Possible") Even if the members of TH don't show up in one or two chapters, I've found that it's alright with me! :)

The twins/buffalo thing is really entertaining XD I admit, I was initially sort of worried that the new OCs would be disjointed from the story, but I should have known better ;P I wonder if it's true what they said, that Ruby was summoned. I'm guessing it wasn't on purpose...
Gah, so that means that Julie girl was real?? O_o If Vastian said she was a volunteer...
I really liked all the Jacie and Abby interaction. I chuckled out loud when Abby made like he was going to steal his parrot XD

And oh my gosh. More proof that hiding large and disturbing secrets always fucks up the ppl around you -.- Seriously, so much shit happens in movies (or tv shows) just because someone keeps important info to themselves in order to "protect" others.
Author's Response: Jacie never explained the potatoes. The best answer he gave was that a man needed to be able to use a knife with skill and dexterity, which implies the reason was simply because he needed something to practice his knife skills on and potatoes were the best he could come up with. Maybe he thought he would have ended up in the hospital if he'd tried carving a tree branch without knowing how to work a knife. Jacie thinks so fast that not all of his thoughts are explained to us. XD His reason for being is to make his mother crazy, and I'm sure the thought of what she'd do when she found a hundred of them on the table made him happy. Practice AND making his mother nuts, a ten pointer in his book.

God I hate her. She always treats me like I’m fucking two. -- Lol, what the hell? I thought Jacie's mother was perfect in handling his ant situation. His perception is perhaps skewed more than I thought.
And woot! I was cheering Vastian on every moment he was handing Dave and John's (but mostly Dave's) asses to them. You can't live on a flipping quick fix. (Again, unless you have something that can't be remedied by talking it out) I completely agree with him all the way. It's abuse to drug people up just to keep them working.
