Author's Response: Basically Tom was mocking the righteous manner in which Bill was trying to act. He didn't want to fight with Tom and felt as if he was right. Tom was alluding to this in a sarcastic tone and also made a gesutre to Mary.

Tom calling Mary a whore and Natalie not sticking up for her, I didn't like that too much, but I agreed with everything else they said and I hope Mary will see the truth soon as well.
Author's Response: It's hard to take sides to every little argument, so Natalie wasn't necessarily agreeing. She was more of trying to be neutral in faint hope the two could solve their problems on their own. You will find out if Mary ever does see something in Estelle, if Estelle was even a threat to begin with.

Author's Response: Thanks Koos! Well, Mary is a complex character so we wouldn't want for everyone to think she was perfect and right all the time. She's supposed to be flawed and human, and that goes for most of the characters in the story. Thank you very much for the review!
