I really liked this chapter and it still falls in beat like the others. I couldn't help but say "aww" at times. It was so adorable. I hope Bill doesn't intend to leave anytime soon.

Oh dear sweet Zeus! I was so happy when I saw an update on this. I like all your stuff, but this and Oh Brother are my current faves from you, so to see this in my updated "tracked stories" list was a wonderful surprise.

I'm still reeling from Bill's character though. I'm still longing to know what is up with him. He's so strange...and I think he is giving Tom mixed signals. I can't read Bill at all and I don't think Tom can either. Tom should just ask him straight out what is going on with him or something. LOL

But yeah, Bill thinking "Don't" when Tom leaned in to kiss him...so bizarre. If he doesn't want that happening with Tom then shouldn't Bill nip Tom's crush in the bud and discourage him from seeing him?

So odd.

Still loving this story, keep up the great work.

Oh yeah, by the way, I find it really, REALLY odd that Bill doesn't seem to have much in his apartment. No other furniture it seems and it's not a "lived in" place. It's like he's just squatting there for someone else until they come back. Like Bill's a drifter or something who doesn't stay in one place for too long.

I just have so many questions.

Author's Response: Don't worry, more about Bill will be revealed as we go along, and I hope all your questions will answered! I've finally planned this story out, since when I started it I hadn't had a clue where I was taking it! Hopefully you'll like where it's going, although my plans for it might change as we go along. I really like this story. It doesn't have some super unique plotline, but rather it's just a story about a developing relationship between these two guys. And it has no cliches whatsoever. The way Bill and Tom interact and get to know each other is very unique,but at the same time, very normal. And yet nothing about the story seems boring. You write the characters so well.

That's great to hear, and very motivating :) I began writing this story to help me get over some serious writer's block I had with my other stories (which have a lot of clichés in them), I guess I needed to write something completely different to anything else I've written before and this is the result, which I had then decided to make into a story and post it. I'm glad you enjoy it :)

You know, I don't think I've ever read a story where Bill is older. I've read one's where Tom's older, but not Bill.

Author's Response: Hm, you're right, I don't think I have either. I guess because Bill is always pictured as the sensitive boy and Tom is usually pictured as the macho who's heart melts when he see's little vulnerable Bill. Which is how I ususally write them too (kind of), I just wanted to write something completely different to my other stories :)

At first, I thought you had run off with some guy, don’t know why.

Then I got the horrible idea that maybe you had died.

When Mel told me she’d seen you review something…I nearly cried in relief.

Now, enough embarrassing ass-kissing. I love this! I mean…it’s amazing. The whole plot, the whole idea of it is just brilliant.

One thing I find really interesting is how you put so much effort into the details, whether consciously or not. Like how Tom, the teenager, downs his glass of juice instead of leaving it on the table like Bill, the adult. That’s a very realistic thing and the fact that you make it work so effortlessly is fabulous.

I don’t know if it’s possible, but that moment at the end, when Tom placed his forehead against Bill’s temple, that was in my opinion the most beautiful thing you’ve ever written! I was actually holding my breath...trembling, girl! I was freakin’ trembling!

You move people, you know, and you do it good!
I hope you love writing as much as you did before, I certainly love your writing as much as I did before!

I hope there is a chance of him getting dreads again, somehow, even if they are black (red, blue, purple, whatever) I loved those dreads! I have a thing for dreads, guys with dreads just catch my attention.

And for some reason, I don't want Bill and Tom to get together, simply because Tom's younger than Bill....I think that's the reason, the only one that I can think of at least.

Author's Response: I know what you mean, writing this Tom makes me cringe! This story is also kind of an experiment and a challenge for me because it's pretty different from my other stories and usual characterisations (did I even spell that right?)I began writing this with absolutely no clue where it was going, but I've got it all planned out now... and I hope you'll like it! And to answer your question... there is absolutely no way in hell I'm writing in the twins new hair! There is nothing better than a Bill playing with (or waxing) Tom's dreads and a Tom threading his fingers through Bill's soft hair! But his dreads are gone now... forever... *sniff*. I will keep them alive with my stories though, haha. I'm really glad you liked this, thanks a lot for the review! It was a nice read haha.
