I thought autism was when a person would barely say a word, never look anyone in the eye and when that person is cross legged on the floor, usually is moving front/back, front/back...you knw what I mean?
Maybe the type of autism you're writing is a diferent one that I'm used to. I've never met an autistic child/adult that acts like the Bill in this fic.
Perhaps you could explain it to me.

Aspergers is just one of several autism spectrum disorders, characterized by difficulties in social interaction and by restricted, stereotyped interests and activities. The mainstay of treatment is behavioral therapy, focusing on specific deficits to address poor communication skills, obsessive or repetitive routines (like the brushing of his hair, the counting of the stars on the ceiling and the way he organizes hi stuff), and clumsiness. Most people with Aspergers can learn to cope with their differences, but may continue to need moral support and encouragement to maintain an independent life. You meant it's a prologue, not an epilogue, right? Prologue comes before the story and the epilogue after.
Anyway, I reaaaally want to to continue this story. I can't help but already wonder how Bill will evolve in his new school.
There's a guy at my school who I believe is autistic. I'm not sure, though, I could I know for sure? I've never talked to him. I always thought he was just a freak and somehow now I regret never talking to him, he looks like such a nice, lonely guy. I dunno if this is why this story intersted in the first place, but I'll be looking out there for more :)
