Author's Response: Ah, thanks for reading! Bill is torn between wanting a baby and wanting to get rid of Tom. But then again, he is loving on the Tom, so it's difficult. But Tom hasn't proven himself as a good support yet, so Bill is also torn between wanting to go with his heart and wanting to listen to reason. Did that explain something for you?
