Oh. My God. Loves it. Seriously; ths one of the best written fics I've ever read. And I've read a lot.
Colloquial, but not overly. Descriptive, but subtle. Realistic. Original. Etc. The list goes on. Just one thing: your summary is a bit unclear. Just a suggestion, but to be honest, I'm too caught up in the fic to care right now.
Amy is just brilliant, but we don't see enough of him. Sequel?? Hint hint?
