Those are the two most clueless boys on the face of the planet! Someone should tell them that if you truly can't stand someone, you'd ignore and avoid each other as much as humanly possible.
But these two are constantly griping at each other, thinking about each other and doing things to get a rise out of each other.

Bill is so dramatic. I mean he wakes up next to Tom in the morning and screams? As if Tom is hideous or something--and Bill knows he isn't. To me, that's like that famous Shakespeare saying: "Methinks the lady doth protests too much." So yeah, we're not in Shakespearean times anymore and Bill is definitely no lady, but I think his screaming was him protesting too much. :) Tom was right. Bill DID invade his personal space and so Bill should just deal with it. That was such a good line! *cackles*
Afterwards, I found breakfast to be a telling development as well. Why act like you guys are suffering from some weird "morning after" scenario, boys? Nothing remotely sexual happened, yet they were both acting like it HAD. See? Deep down the intent is there and their subconscious really wants to, but they haven't realized it yet. Hence, the weirdness at breakfast.
And the biggest development of all: Tom watching the little exchange with Bill and Jose and planning his little revenge for something Bill didn't even know he said. Tom's certainty that Bill is doing it just to fuck with him and his constant thoughts about Bill. Like I said above...if you truly couldn't stand someone, you'd make an effort to ignore that person most of the time. Tom is just sitting there obsessing over Bill and how he's always THERE. There's that love/hate starting up. :D
And Bill sealed the deal himself at the end. You're flirting with a hot gardner for days (or weeks, depending on how long Bill's been there so far) and you FINALLY have the guy reciprocating your advances. You're on your knees, ready to devour his cock, and suddenly, at the sight of Tom, your whole focus changes to: 'I want Tom to SEE me sucking this guy's cock?' And even go so far as to WATCH Tom while doing it? LOL! Poor Jose didn't even know he was forgotten there. I don't know. I think his feelings would be a LITTLE hurt. :D
I like slash, but usually only between my main characters. So the Jose/Bill stuff did nothing for me, but I found that Bill blowing Jose while locking eyes with Tom gleefully was uber hot. The only thing hotter would have been if Jose had had Bill up against the wall fucking him and Bill was watching Tom over Jose's shoulder the whole time. To me, whoever your focus is on, THAT'S the person you really want. Even if you don't realize it or admit it yet.
And what will Tom do? I'm hoping he does alert Gordon to what Bill is doing. It would cause fireworks between the boys for sure once Bill gets reprimanded for it, but I'm sure poor Jose will be out of a job. Then again, Jose knew better, but who can really resist Bill? So I guess I can't blame him.
But yeah. What will Tom do? Show his dad or protect Bill? And I wasn't sure, were Tom and Bill still staring at each other at the very end of the chapter? I know they said Bill didn't hear Gordon, but I think Jose and Tom did.
