Oh, also I forgot to mention that I find it highly interesting that Bill hasn't tried to seduce Tom. I didn't notice until Andi pointed it out, but he's right. Bill is a highly sexual individual. He thrives on it; gets his kinks from it...yet he's not tried to seduce Tom who is, beyond a doubt, a very handsome guy. And it isn't because he's set to become his new step-brother either. I guess you could say it's the moral compass of the situation, b/c while your step-siblings aren't blood relations, it's still usually frowned upon if they fall in love, right? But Bill isn't the type to give a flip about moral compasses. In fact, I think he's permanently buried his own somewhere deep down where his father is. So it's not that. It's a fact that he knows Tom is attractive, so why hasn't he gone there with Tom? He went there with Jose, he goes there with Andi constantly and if there was another hot guy around I'm sure he'd go there with him as well. So what's wrong with Tom?
I think Bill, deep down, realizes in some aspect that Tom is different. Tom needs to be treated differently...maybe with more respect. And I know people may laugh at this theory. Respect? Ha! Bill doesn't respect Tom at all.
True. But subconsciously, maybe he does. Maybe his subconscious doesn't want to seduce Tom because, so far, Tom doesn't treat Bill as a piece of meat. Jose is just attracted by Bill's hotness and Andi is Bill's "fast-track life" friend. Meaning Andi will fuck just as hard, snort coke just as hard and drive just as fast as Bill. He's basically another version of Bill.
Tom isn't. Tom is a pretty quiet guy so far as I can see. He likes fun, but it's not the kind that usually makes parents have heart attacks. He has friends, is rich and is generally not a bother to his father. Bill can't relate to that and that is what I think makes him scared of Tom.
He says Tom is scared of Bill, but I think it goes both ways.
So yeah. I think on some level he knows not to just fuck around with Tom for the sake of fucking around. Deep down I think he knows this boy is messing with his head in ways that he just can't fathom right now and it scares the shit out of him.
Tom is getting under Bill's skin.
Excellent job by the way. Can't wait for the next update. Maybe you should just finish one story and then move onto the others. But, then you might get rusty with the others. So it's sort of a catch-22 there. Good luck figuring it out! :DDDD

Bill is used to guys (and often girls) seeing and treating him as a piece of meat, but still handling him with respect (or he might just flip and claw their eyes out). Even Georg, Tom's (very) straight friend, suddenly wants a piece of him (or at least it seemed that way from how he was acting). Then there's Andreas, that one person in his life who probably knows Bill inside out (literally) and treats Bill the right way not because he wants to get into his pants, but rather because he's a real friend. But now, bang, suddenly there's Tom. A very attractive guy who hasn't made a single attempt to get into Bill's pants. And he doesn't treat Bill like he's used to from other guys. Firstly: He doesn't seem to be very interested in finding out what Bill's like in bed (or on the kitchen counter, or in the pool, or in the shower, or against the wall, or even on the floor... actually, those are my fantasies :'D) and doesn't really respond to Bill's games the way Bill expects him to. And secondly: He isn't necessarily mean to him either. Sure he's ignoring him now, but he could do much worse like tell on him to their parents (José thing or about the coke) yet he doesn't. And to top it all off he showed an interest in Bill's well-being by telling him off for snorting coke (and let a 'you're beautiful' slip on the way), if he didn't care about Bill he wouldn't have cared about the coke either. So, what the hell does all that mean? Tom is as much as an enigma to Bill, as Bill is to him. I would love to pause all my other stories for a while and finish this one first, however I have many readers who read my other stories but not this one, and I would hate to let them wait so long again! But if I really have trouble continuing my other stories because I just can't get this one out of my head, then I might just have to pause them and finish this one first. Hmmmm. Very interesting. At first I was very irritated at Bill for spinning such horrible tales about Tom, but I figured that of course he was going to do that. He feels like Tom has wronged him somehow and wants Andi to be on his side. It still is sucky of him though. :D
But...Andi seems to like Tom now and I can only imagine how interesting the events in this story arc are gonna be. And Andi should tell Bill that if he truly didn't give a damn about Tom, then he wouldn't constantly be going on and on about him. He would be indifferent to Tom's very existence and ignoring him the way that Tom is ignoring Bill now. Methinks that Bill is very bothered by Tom and doesn't realize why. I'm suspecting that Andi going after Tom might raise these issues to the forefront. But I could be wrong.
Now this is the second time that Bill has tried to get some kind of rise out of Tom by making out with/or sexing up some other guy--both times Tom reacting in a way not to Bill's liking. I'm wondering how Bill wants Tom to act? Jealous? Does he want Tom to rip him and the other guy apart? :D
Poor Tom. I'm glad he went down to the pool area because he's right. It is his house and he has a right to be anywhere he wants in it. Bill, on the other hand, isn't a part of his family yet and should really be a lot less rude.
Maybe Tom should point this out during dinner one night in front of his dad and Simone the next time they try to coax him into "trying harder with Bill". Personally, If I were him, I would say: "I have tried but he isn't having it! Why should I be the only one trying here?" You know?
I'm strangely visualizing this scene where Bill annoys Tom so much that Tom just upends a whole pitcher of lemonade or something over Bill while he's lying by the side of the pool sunbathing. That would be hilarious.
It's this whole subtle love/hate thing going on and it definitely will be hot when they finally do break. I don't know if it will be at the same time or if one will attack the other, but I can't see them coming together all lovey dovey and gentle with sweet kisses. There's too much animal magnetism and hostility between the two masking what's really beneath the surface.
Definitely will be interesting. Hope the parents are away when it goes down because...um...that would be awkward.
Of course, maybe you envision them coming together with sweet kisses and gentle caresses and, if you do, I'm sure you'll convince me when that time comes, but right now I can't see them finally giving into their feelings in any other way than it being tumultuous, angry and wild. ;D
Author's Response: Hm yeah, I think at the moment Andi's mind is a little more open than Bill and Tom's combined! At least he tries to figure Tom out himself, instead of just hating on him because Bill does ;p And I'm sure he will, eventually, be able to open both boys' eyes a little, hopefully! And you're very right about Bill's behaviour towards Tom. If he really didn't give a damn about the guy, he'd ignore him. But he doesn't, so something must be bothering him. And even though Tom does ignore Bill, doesn't mean that he is indifferent to Bill's existence, something is bothering him too. Well, Tom thinks about it a lot so we know what bothers him about Bill. However with Bill we know he is bothered because of his actions and behaviour towards Tom, but there doesn't seem to be an obvious reason (yet)... and now I'm analysing my own story haha. I agree with you on how Tom should point out that he seems to be the only one trying and Bill won't have it so there's nothing he can do, since he doesn't seem to like Bill very much at the moment either, so why should he be the nice guy? He might just be at the verge of cracking and telling their parents just that! And you know what, I mught just add that little scenario you described, about Bill and the pitcher of lemonade, haha! I can see a few more fights and arguments coming along between them too, so the lemonade scene might just happen ;) I don't want to give away too much on the way they will come together, to be honest I haven't planned that out very thoroughly yet, but I can tell you one thing: Bill is fierce, period. ;)
