Hey, I'v just read this story and I've got to admit I'm really impressed. I really like this story so far and I was a little turned off by the summary but I'm really happy I decided to read it. So many questions though. Why doesn't bill like gordon? Did he do something while he was a cat? or before, when they changed him? What world do they live in? is magic common or is it viewed the way our world views it (mostly fiction)? What is bill? why does he look so different? was he just albino before or was there his eyes strance then too? How did the men find him? did his mother really abandon him or did something else happen? Simone's great btw! So happy she was cool w/ the whole thing. Does bill know as much as tom b/c he's been sitting there for the past 13 years watching him do his homework? can he read? do math? that would be cool if he went to school w/ tom but he'd probably sleep through all his classes. he's gotta do something about his biological clock. update soon! love this story!
Author's Response: Oh gosh, let me try to answer all these x.x First of all, for the summary I really had no idea what to put, I rewrote it about 3 different ways, and none of them really seemed to fit. If you have a suggestion, please tell me. :] I was thinking making it a bit more plain now that the story has kicked off. The Bill - Gordon thing is saved for later, and while it's not too hard to figure out, there's a lot more to it then meets the eye. The world they live in isn't one where magic is common, but it's there, like black magic. Otherwise it's just like our world. Bill's mother gave him to the group of men because she didn't want him, and knew they could do something about it. Like, underground some underground black market black magic thing. Bill's condition is never really explained, but he was born as a kind of human-cat crossbreed, but his DNA isn't different by enough of a margin that he is a different species. He IS human, just catlike. He isn't albino; his hair and eyes are like a cats, and his skin is white because it's never been exposed to the sun since he always had fur. I don't know if it's the case with cats, but my dogs have black fur, and if you look at their skin, it's bluish. The way he was born is the way he is now, although some features didn't come till later in his development [like for example he didn't have massive incisors when he was born, obviously]. As for the rest, you'll find out!!
