Author's Response: i tried to make tom really angry, but then i read some news stories about mothers who would cover up for their murderous sons and girlfriends who'd do anything for their boyfriends. sometimes, love really makes people crazy, and tom and bill have too strong of a connection. tom's basically just dying for any chance to forgive bill cuz he loves him too much :P
