Author's Response: Oh yes it IS an important part! It was said in the Certificate of Death - Immediate Cause: Head Trauma; they were in a car accident, that was why Bill was so agitated when a car spend in front of them one day, and that's the reason for the scars on his body. I hope everything's clearer now :)
