THAT'S THE END??? I saw Complete: Yes and I FREAKED. Hmmm, I honestly can't decide who's happier, mind set one or mind set two. Cuz Bushiod's dead, so he can't sleep around with Bill anymore, but then again, Bill still loves him. First Bushido died when they didn't even get the chance to see other one last time and I was hoping to read something a little more soothing I guess, or at least get to see Bill's reaction...
I fail to see how this is an end. I feel empty and sad.
Now I know why I usually stay away from Death fics.
Congratulations on your writing skills though. Even if I didn't like the end, there's no doubt you're extremely talented.

Bushido's last words to Bill brought tears into my eyes. You portrayed him as a great person all along and his love for Bill was so obviously honest and deep. He knew he was luckly to have been able to experience a love like this. And maybe, just maybe, he was glad to give up his life for his country since he couldnt have Bill after all.
Such a great job!

Yes, I am finally catching up on some reading.
Oh my god, the ending of this chapter just makes me ache. I'm still on the fence about everything. I go back and forth. I don't fit in with mindset number one or mindset number two. I am relieved that Bill and Tom are finally working out but I hurt so badly for Bushido.

This is the best story in the TH fandom i have ever read and one of the best pieces of fiction available on the net, in my opinion. You did a wonderful job once again and have further solidified in me the idea that i would follow you into any fic.

I just re-read the chapter and the reviews and i was going to ask two questions but one was already asked by someone else(the one with what happens to the girls in this world of yours), so i'm only going to bug you a little bit that's annoying me.
The world you have created is very male centered and one of its basis is that second males have to mary first males. How does one know when a baby is born if he'll be second male or first male? Because you can't really tell sexual behavior and submisivness(or lack thereof) from a baby. Is it something that gets known in time or is magic used to help the process? Are certain families supposed to have certain types of babies or not?
Sorry for bugging you but i'd really want to know. Answer if and when you have the time and once again, great story.
Author's Response: This was a question we got a lot in the early chapters and the answer can be deduced from the story, but only from close reading. As far as how personal, natural inclination affects it, we haven't explored it much. As far as magically, every second male (Bill included, as he is said to have one in the story) is born with a specific birth mark.
