Wow... i'm totially moved by this fic. I'm aware a sequil has been started but felt the need to comment before i read further. Kudos and how amazingly origional and unique this world was. I spent days and days reading this in all of my breaks and will probably read it again some day. Thank you guys so much for writing this. It was very real and very moving. :)

I've spent all of my free-time reading and thinking about this story. It was the first think on my mind when I woke up and it was the last thing I read before going to sleep. I would have finished it sooner if not for having to go to work, but it was nice having something to look forward to so much. All I wanted to do all day was just get to the computer to read more and more and more.
I should have left reviews after each chapter, but usually I just don't know what to say, especially with a masterpiece such as this, but at the end, I find myself so overwhelmed with emotion that it's hard to find the words to leave a proper review.
All along, I was rooting for Tom to win over Bill. His feelings just seemed more genuine and not as physical as Bushido's, even though I know that Bu's feelings were just as strong and real. Despite that, my heart broke for Bushido. He knew he loved Bill, knew that Bill should have been his, but still, he was a strong enough man to realize that it wasn't meant to be and let his love go. He was a truly honorable man, and I cried like a baby when he died.
I would say that I'm dying to know how Bill dealt with Bushido's death, and how Tom dealt with Bill's grief and all of that, but I see that you wonderful ladies have written a sequel, thank the gods. So, I'm off to get lost, once again, in this fascinating world you've created. Excellent, excellent job! :D

Sorry that I haven't reviewed yet... Usually, I'm not crazy about science-fiction stories but I have to admit that this one is really good. Everytime that I read another chapter, I dive in this new magic world and forget about the real life !
I hope Bushido isn't going to die because I want Bill and him to live together but on the other hand... I want Tom to be happy too so... I really don't know how I want this to end... But this story is already completely written so I guess I just have to read the rest of it to know that !

Okay, so…
I’ve read this story in a few days.
I started reading it in Italian on the Kaulitzestita (translated by Tabata) and then I just couldn’t wait for the updates, so I decided to read it in English.
It’s amazing.
Every single word catches you, it seems like the story is going to swallow you…
You fall into its world, and you can’t leave it, you don’t want to.
The feelings of each character are like your own, you can actually feel them in your heart…
I lived Bill and Bushido’s love story as if it was my own…
Everything was so… strong!
I shed so many tears over these pages, you can’t even imagine.
Okay, probably I suck at reviewing this story, both ‘cause English’s not my first language, and because there ain’t words to describe how much I liked it and how it made me feel.
I’m just trying to tell you that this is a masterpiece. The best story ever.
And I’m seriously wondering: why don’t you turn this into a book? Just change the character’s names, and it would be a bestseller. It’s more than well written, it’s set in a world with its own rules… it’d make a great book, I’m sure of it!
Well, again, it’s really an amazing fic.
I’ve already read the first chapters of “A broken Halleluja”, and I can’t wait for the next update! (even if I don’t know if I can read it, now that Bushido’s dead ç_ç)

Author's Response: Yes, this is a very male-dominated society. Men marry men. There are no goddesses, only gods. Women are concubines, whores, or train concubines or whores. In Fylogenia, they can have other occupations, but not so much in the Outlands, and certainly not in the Five Cities, at least not at this point in history. For the most part, as far as men are concerned, women are there for reproduction. The merode (second male parent) fills the role, for the most part, of a mother. If we were to do this story from a female's perspective, I'm sure it would be told quite differently, but these men have been raised to function this way.
