I'm really confused. So Tom wanted Bill b/c he wanted a friend who would like him for him, not his money. What's wrong w/ bill other than he just doesn't have all the right memories. He could probably be taught everything in a month flat. Tom's rich, he can pay to have someone do that. And why did he keep Bill, I thought they were going to terminate him. Update soon.

incredible, it's really like those yaoi mangas. where the dom orders a "robot" of sorts & ends up falling for it.

So this very much reminds of the movie "The Island" but thats okay. Whether your borrowing from that idea or this is completely your own I love it.
I love how Tom felt guilty knowing Bill is going to get "scrapped". Obviously it means killed. I can't wait to read more. Please continue.
Author's Response: I'm not quite sure what my inspiration was, but I am a big sci fi fan. I... liked the Island OK, but it was nothing I'd own. And actually the more I think about how I model the city in my mind, the more it reminds me of something like Final Fantasy, at least in looks anyway. And I most definitely will continue = ) Thanks.

I can't wait to see what happens. I love the concept of Bill being a clone and I love your explanation for why he isn't exactly like Tom. Getting to see Tom struggle with a serious moral dilemma is just amusing.
