The ending were Absolutely Perfect!
A truly Happy Ending, were Tom got to be the knight in shining armour for Bill!!!

There have been times when I wanted to cry, reading your story, but most of al, I remember it as very romantic story! I also have laughed like a lunatic at some of Bill's reactions and words. Like: "can you sit?"
Or, when Tom shoved Sarah in to the cupboard... That was truly hilarious...
The tears were falling at the end of "The best day" and when Tom drove away from the train station, remembering the time he had with Bill! Heartbreaking.... really heartbreaking!
The setting of this story, felt strangely familiar... Don't know why though...
It felt like it was set in the 1930's American midwest...
It has been a excellent pleasure to read your story this evening. It made time fly by, like only a story extraordinare, can!

one of the best fic ever!! actually, "barefoot" is the story showing guenine feelings,true love.I can hardly think of any other stories that could possibly match bill's innocence and purity.Everything is sooo HUMAN! you truly are talented and i'm glad you share that with us^^

Ich finde diese FF so toll und dennoch hatte ich noch nie was dazu geschrieben... Ich weiß, dass du es schon zu Ende geschrieben hast und trotzdem bin ich total gespannt und ängstlich... ich hab so Angst, dass Bill und Tom sich nicht mehr sehen... Ich weiß, dass ich weiterlesen sollte und einfach sehen, was danach passiert aber ich MUSSTE was zu diesem Teil schreiben... Danke für diese Geschichte !
