I had this story favorited since forever and I finally read it just now. Oh my God is all I can say I suppose, this was SO good. I swear to God I thought Bill had died and I sobbed my way through the last chapter, only to find out that he survived. Thank you for this story! It was amazing!

Reading this again all these years later and I'm still absolutely floored. I'd forgotten that Bill doesn't die at the end and I was in tears during the operating room scene and also the funeral ;~; I haven't been on here in years, I think, but I really miss your fics. You both write some of the best, most immersive fics I've ever had the pleasure to read :) I saw that you both haven't been posting or updating in ages, so I hope everything's ok and hopefully one day you guys will come back

I want to post a review for this, but I don't know what to say. It's a truly beautiful story. I'm crying, that's for sure. I love all your stories, but so far, this is my favorite. You write so well, you must have millions of plot-bunnies running around! This story is just...I can't...It's...*sniffles* I need huggles...It's so beautiful.

This. Story. Was. Amazing. I couldn't 'put it down', and was feeling on the edge of my seat the whole time. I choked back tears so often, got so scared. You really know how to wring emotions out of someone - and this story did that BRILLIANTLY.

Well, fuck. That was AMAZING. And for a minute there I thought that Bill was actually dead, and I hated you, a little. But it was so well written, I could feel the panic and the dread and the pain so well, and the fact that it jumps so much, from pov to pov and from scene to scene, just added to the feeling. It was a bit weird at first, reading something in first body - not many people use that in writing. But it made the whole thing even more personal. So yeah, in case I wasn't being too coherent, I loved this.

But I must admit this was a very good story! Reading it I just fealt all these different kinds of emotions! Saddness/anger/and fear, the most for the boys! Poor Saki and poor Tobi, they died. I was shocked that they were killed!
The guys must be tramumized(sp)after everything that happened. But hopefully they well be okay in the future....

Aaaack, such a short story but so much impact. It was really powerful, and felt incredibly realistic to me. Heartwrenching through and through. So much was just...just in it, y'know? It's got a lot of cliffhangers in it, and I just couldn't stop reading this until the very end. It's grabbing and striking. One of the most original stories I've read on here, no debate about that. Although I will admit that the sudden POV switch had me lost at the beginning and I still struggled with it a little through the entire story.
Completely mindfucking at the very end. Omg, I freaked out so bad. Absolutely brilliant.
