Oh thank god Bill didn't die!!! Reading about the funeral, I was sure it was Bill and my heart was in my throat and tears were in my eyes and then...he's alive! Poor Saki, but still, Bill's alive! Loved this story! It was so sad and terrifying yet beautifully written!

I was really hoping you were going to do that. While I was reading I just kept thinking "Please let it be Saki's grave" over and over. For once, I'm really grateful for an unreliable narrator. I'm still sad Saki is dead though.
This story was one hell of a roller coaster ride but it was absolutely amazing and intense. Now I'm all excited for whatever is next. There better be new projects on the table.

Oh, you motherf-ers. I was bawling my eyes out (mostly due to this line: "Bill, you weren't supposed to go before me, I have to check it out to make sure its safe, I was supposed to protect you..."), until the second to last paragraph. Way to totally mislead me. But it couldn't have been a better ending. I'm very happy Bill survived.
