As a non-twin fascinated by the idea of twins I found this such an interesting depiction of a twin relationship. Very emotional and, I'll say it again, beautiful.

It's like reading my own thoughts. I had tears brimming from my eyes one moment and the next a coy grin creeping across my face. I really have fallen in love with this story. It's written in my way of thinking, and I can tell we think the same way. I understand how hard it is to make those transitions that happen automatically in your mind and make them into words that make sense. You just can't. You must find someone whose brain works the same as yours and then they just get it.
I love the concept of the heartbeats as one. It's creative in just the right way, yet still has a hint of a future cliché. If that made any sense. It did to me. lol
And the rain concept. I often sit at my window staring out, contemplating random things. Hell, it could be sunny and 90 degrees and I'm still like this. But I must say, I adore the rain and what it makes me feel. It is so exhilarating it's uncanny.

One of his favorite things to do was to get to the roots of something; an object or an event, anything really. He liked to pick apart the mundane things in life and search for their deeper meaning. It pleased him to think about these things, knowing that they were so often looked over by the rest of the world.
I love this story! I have those thoughts a lot an people something give me weird looks when i ask them about it.
But this story is REALLY good! I feel like something just has been made clear to me without knowing what I actually wanted to know... weird.
But i like it!

Yes, it was deep, and wordy, but a joy to read. It flowed beautifully and was soft and almost calming to read. I loved it.
It was interesting to read Bill's thoughts and to see how they meandered and developed. It's quite difficult to do, as thoughts are rarely ever linear or rational; you pulled it off really well!
You captured their relationship wonderfully, innocent and so deep. I adored your characterisation of Tom. The way he reassured Bill, he was the perfect older brother and a lot like I see him to be.
Absolutely adorable. Fantastic job.

I enjoyed your foray into character development. The thoughts of Bill meandered, they trailed along the normal lines of thoughts when you're able to just relax. They're not quite linear and you get thrown off track many times.
This was very sweet and reassuring. Tom was the perfect older brother; calm and willing to explain to Bill why things are the way they are. It was all adorable and fluffy, with some serious introspection. Very nice job.
