I really enjoyed this chapter. Tom's shock that Bill would lie to him was so bitter I could taste it in my mouth. I just wish he wouldn't push down his ability, even though I can understand his desire for normalcy.
The end with Tom flipping the channels... brilliant. I like the little news snippets. You're a very brilliant writer. Very wry with your words and turns of phrase. I will enjoy reading more from you.
