I was sooo scared, and the whole time i was like "no, no, she didn't list character death, so he can't be dead, unless she lied! GRR!" but then everything was wonderful again! and even better! YAAY! what i really want to say is, that was a fun read, thankyou :D

Oh my, Lucy, you had me worried for a minute there... My eyes were filling up halfway through! What a relief it was when Tom picked up the hat and I realised that it wasn't him that was hit by the car.

This was different, it was almost abstract in style which I enjoyed. The descriptions were wonderful.

and the little golden bell resting out there on the street, stained in ruby and bathed in sunlight.

I loved that line. It illustrates what I liked about this... Your use of language was very imaginative and you wrote this in a very creative style. You managed to portray emotions and imagery in a very unique way.

I absolutely loved the ending, with the contrast between the kitten and the lion, and the coninued theme of fire and burning.

So good Lucy. You should definitely write more like this.

Author's Response: oh my God, if I have ever said in the past that you have made me blush worse then ever you can scratch that because this was just...I don't think even blushing describes it fully. It's more like I got this glow in me that just pours out everywhere, I swear I'm lighting up the entire room by now ! it was actually your story that inspired me to finish this cus I have had it almost done for such a long time, but the feeling just wasn't there, you know? and then I read 'the boy and the butterfly' and my story just fell into place, so thank you Emma *holds you tight*
