I know, I know it must have really scared Bill to see Tom do that, but Tom has been there for him all the way through this. I wish Bill could have been there for Tom too, when he really needed him.

This chapter was so intense and heartbreaking. I'm scared for what will happnen now - with Bill and Tom, with the police ( will Tom be in trouble ) and just everything!

I read a whole 8 chapters in a row yesterday, so maybe I can say something about them in overall now :).
First of all I find this fic fascinating. It has been (despite of all those dark themes) some sort of relief to read. I've been reading lately mostly angsty and sad fics usually without happy ends, so compared to those I can find a positive atmosphere here. It is a good thing. Things seems to go on to a right direction and there is indeed a light at the end of a tunnel.
First couple of chapters were hard to read because of the rape and incredible pain there was, but I just wanted to do it. I think they created a good background to the whole healing process. It was interesting how these tragic happenings were a turning point to twins relationship, made them see each others in different way. I like very much the way you are developing their relationship and their new emotions so slowly and carefully. It's way more realistic than oversentimental quick jumps to each others arms and making love. They are confused, of course they are! You are doing a good job there and you describe it very well too.
Maybe I'm not so sure about things like Gordon's own background (quite a coindicent for me), but otherwise I like very much this fic. I'm also very interested about the outside world and people's reactions to the situation. Like we all know there would be a total chaos if pictures of Bill leaving hospital badly bruised would show up and then absolutely NOTHING. Fandom would go crazy. So for that point of view it would be great if you in a future could give us a little peek to the public's reactions?
Your writing is very enjoyable to read and twins bond here is just adorable. Like Tom (?) was thinking at one point: like they were becoming as one again. I like that image :).The slow approaching is very suitable here. It grows up a tension the way it's almost unbearable now.. and actually kind a hot too :)

Second, I'm very glad that you are enjoying it, and that it is giving you a break from all the dark, angsty fics out there. :) And about Gordon, I know it may seem a little too coincidental but I needed to have someone in the story that Bill could identify with, he just so happened to fit the criteria I was looking for to be that person. About the public's reaction to everything, so far no one knows anything about what has happened but more will be revealed about how the public is dealing in the next few chapters, so please be patient for that. Still loving the tension between them. Damn, you write that well! Nervous for poor Bill, though, going to ID the guys. Good thing he has Tom, but I feel for Tom, having to see Bill so upset. You do wonderfully, writing such an emotional story. :D
