Okay, first off, I cannot believe someone reviewed your story and said it was "stupid" because of the Billshido. I don't even care that she apologized to you, my ban finger is ITCHING... But that's not the point, I will let the fangirl live to see another day on THF. :F
Now, I have been reading this on lj since you first started posting, and I actually don't know if I've ever reviewed. Shame on me if I haven't! This is a very unique story, one I haven't read in this fandom yet. For anyone who is saying that Bill is bad or selfish and that Tom got his heart broken... I don't understand those comments, at all.
Maybe the reason I haven't reviewed (if I haven't hehe) is because this story is very difficult to wrap my mind around. I feel insanely uncomfortable reading it, but you're such an amazing writer... I can't stop. Even if it hurts.
Here's why I feel uncomfortable...
Studies show that most cases of incest between siblings occurs when one sibling, usually the older one, makes advances and the other sibling either is too afraid to say no or doesn't understand really what is going on. I'm not calling Tom a bad guy in this, or a molester, or whatever... but this seems to be the case in your story. Bill never really felt sexual toward Tom but he enjoyed the sexual feelings in general and loved Tom (as a brother) so he let him continue their sexual relationship. Tom, to me, at the time really couldn't be held responsible either because of his age, he didn't know any better.
It's heartbreaking to see Bill hold onto their relationship the way he has been, because he truly doesn't owe Tom a thing (in my mind). I am peeved at Tom, really, because he has to see that Bill doesn't completely reciprocate the sexual feelings/advances. In one scene, if I remember, they are playing in the snow as children and Tom needs to basically beg Bill to get sexual contact with him. I feel like Tom realizes Bill doesn't feel sexual toward him, but because Bill never stops Tom or pushes him away, he lets the relationship continue. It looks like Tom is completely in love with Bill, and in most twincest fics I am like RIGHT ON, YOUR LOVE IS NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED ON but in this fan fic I am VERY anti twincest.
It seems to me like it's sexual abuse, even if Tom doesn't entirely realize that it is.
Bill is being guilted into the sexual relationship with his brother and the fact that Tom doesn't see this, and wants to hold Bill back with him, kills me.
ANYWAY! None of these things are criticisms of your work, more just... how I see the situation and the characters. I love the complex story and how you've written Tom and all of the relationships. It's a story I haven't seen told on THF and while it's so uncomfortable and heartbreaking, it's just a damn good story.
The characters drive me crazy, but they seem very real, and that's how I know this is some damn good writing. I would love for Tom to LET BILL GO and for Bill to realize that he doesn't owe Tom this sexual relationship. The Bushido is lovely in this, too.
So.... that's about it. If anyone else leaves you insanely rude and useless reviews, let me know. ;)

You've really hit pretty much everything right on the head of the nail, and I feel like most people don't really get that, so I really, really appreciate you telling me about how you see it and why it gets to you. That means a lot to me. And in the scene where they were playing in the snow, they weren't children lol, but yes, that is what happened. After your review I feel like I should put 'abuse' into one of the warnings. xD I guess I hadn't really realized it was that abusive, which is silly because I should have. Sometimes I get so lost in my stories I forget what's really going on... But yes, thank you so, so very much. :)

OMG, OMG...!! I have read it from 1 to 6 and OK, so I have to accept this... I'm a freakin' masochist. If I wasn't then whyyyyyy? WHYYYY in the name of God I kept reading this? You kind of made me feel like crap XD

To clear up: I rlly love Billshido (it's sooo hottt!) but this is the first time I've read Bushido nearly as perrrfect! LOL I mean, he even talked to his MOTHER about Bill *o*!
And Bill... *sigh* This is the first time I haven't loved him at all :(
I have to tell you... something that really annoys me to no end is that martyr attitude when it comes to the "I'm-horny-for-someone-else-but-I-know-you-can't-live-without-my-sexy-body-so-I-will-sacrifice-myself-and-let-you-think-I-love-only-you.."
I wanted to SCREAM!(XD) at Bill for making such a horrible thing... when you have an unrequited love, the last thing you want is that lame pity, especially if it comes from THAT person... pff... (Sorry if it looks like it just hit a nerve... it did haha!)
And, oh Billy! don't you know that lies aaalways make things worse? @_@ especially if they are to you TWIN!! Maaaaaan, I'm dying here! Someone smack some sense into that kid! (*Bushido raises his hand*. No, Bu... not that kind of smacking u_uU)
Tom... just.. makes my heart ache so badly!! Honestly, if I was Tom I would have smashed Bill into pulp already. I totally understand the character, although he can be an ass, who wouldn't be enraged if were betrayed and lied to? who wouldn't want to be a little egoistical and keep the love of his life? Ohhhhh... poor Tomi ;( ;( ;(
Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if Bill hadn't lied, or if the news of his brother not wanting him as much as he did wouldn't have fall down on him like a bloody brick! Aw. I can't see how you are gonna make him heal with Bill, girl T_T and I kind of don't wanna either... he doesn't deserve him >-<
My broken heart for Tom somewhat makes the Billshido annoying HAHA:D! but besides that, it's really GOOD... and I really like it. You don't see many gooooood Billshidos around here unless you count PWP ;)
Ohhhh, I guess here you have a review for all the chapters +_+ hehe sorry I needed to pour it all *grins* and that should tell you what an amazing writer you are, to involve the reader so much in the character's emotions is what every writer wants to provoke... or at least, that's what I think is the best when reading a damn good story...
