In the first few chapters, nothing too much out of the ordinary was revealed, other than the bet itself. But then, to read a story where Bill had almost no dialogue became a wonderful revealing of self expression. I enjoyed how Tom noticed more just be observing and Gustav's touch at the end of the book.
Btw, I don't know how much of the body language material you thought came from your imagination, but a lot of that actually is true. ;)
