Ahh I love this little story so so very much!! Also im so impatient while waiting for your updates so I just re-read the whole thing from the beginning. I gotta say, it is soo interesting to read it again knowing what Bill was going through during the first half before it got explained to us - makes you really reflect on everything :) can’t wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: Hey! They don’t actually slow down when I post something new - I aim to post no matter what, twice a week for each story! The new one would only been maybe once a week for a little while whilst I continue to write, however the old ones will still be updated twice a week.

Oh I am so happy that Bill had the best Christmas. Of course I knew Tom would make sure of that. That was such a wholesome chapter and I do have a feeling that this baby will be made in love, not just because of the gift. They are so perfect for each other and of course, Bill still needs time but he is starting to heal. Heaven knows where he would be without Tom, if he would still be alive even. They both deserve only the best in the world. I LOVED it (as always)!
Ah you know I’m always up for new stories. Although I would love new chapters every day I can be patient and wait a little longer for updates. I don’t mind if it’s WIP. Gosh I’m crying. Really, I’m sitting here and the tears are flowing. This is the greatest gift Tom could have made to Bill. It’s that one thing Bill misses the most and Tom will give it to him. This is just so thoughtful and shows what a big heart Tom has. I had my suspicions before but this chapter really exceeded all expectations I had because it was so well written. But I loved everything about it, not only the end. I loved that they spent the night together, and that Bill slept so well with Tom by his side. I loved the other gifts that were exchanged, and that Bill seems to be genuinely happy. Love love love it and I really can’t wait for more!

Bill must have a little library by now judging by how much he reads. I love that he feels so at home with Tom, he deserved such a good soul like Tom to take care of him. Talking to Georg and spending time with him is such a huge step for Bill. I think I’ve said it before but I really can’t wait for Christmas Day now, I really want to know what you have in store for them. You know how much I love this story, I am looking forward to the next chapter!

This chapter made me incredibly happy because of a lot of things: - Bill’s spot giving comfort to Tom. - Bill and Tom holding hands. - Bill calling the apartment ‘home’. - Bill saying what he wants to do at Christmas. - all the other little details you were describing. I love that Bill is making progress. He deserves the most perfect Christmas and I am thinking that Tom will do everything he can to make that true. I really can’t wait for that!

I love learning a bit more of Bill’s background story. I always wondered if Bill had any family because he certainly seems like the type of person that loves family. I already assumed that Steffen would have been the cause of Bill drifting apart from his family. How much of an asshole can someone be? He is manipulative and abusive. And Bill, the sweet soul, didn’t find a way out. This makes me really sad. I loved this chapter and can’t wait for the next one!

I love how you described this typical narcissistic toxic relationship. Everything around him slowly breaks down, and he uses the person as he wants. Brutal. There are so many of these in the real world...

Oh wow, I certainly wasn‘t expecting that! I can’t believe Steffen also abused Andy, what an asshole! I hope they can build a strong case against him. Who knows how many more people he abused, he needs to be locked away as soon as possible. I’m glad Bill finally decided to take legal steps, it will be a hard road but Tom will be there with him all the way. I love the little details like the scene when Bill grabbed Tom’s hand. I think Tom literally saved his life and I love the feelings that are developing. I really can’t wait for them to spend Christmas together. Loved it so much!

I can’t wait for them to exchange gifts at Christmas. I wonder what it is that Tom was talking about to Georg. Bill hugging Tom was the cutest thing, I can’t believe anyone would try and hurt him, such a sweet soul. Bill and Tom are so great together, and I agree with Georg. They might not realize it yet but they are made for each other. Didn’t feel like a filler to me at all, I love it as always, and I can’t wait for more :)
