I am glad that Tom stayed with Bill, especially during the visit from the funeral home guy, that must have been really hard. Tom is just great!I can understand why he was shocked to see Bill‘s neighborhood and apartment though, having had this picture of Bill‘s life stuck in his head for so long. I can only hope that Tom will find out soon enough what is going on in Bill‘s life, because as much as I like that he gave him a lift home, it was probably mood a good idea that he came into apartment and he was being seen by Steffen. I am scared for Bill now and can’t wait to read more! Love it!
Author's Response: I can only imagine how hard that visit was! I didn’t know whether to go into detail into it, or not. Yeah, seen by Steffen was probably not a good idea, he wasn’t too pleased in seeing Tom that’s for sure!

Awh, Tom is so good for Bill, also when he wanted to bring Bill home, and even wanted to walk him to the appartment.
If Tom only knew I know he would've stayed, because he would want to protect him. Steffen really is a asshole and it's so sad that Bill has to deal with him right after coming home😔

I read the chapter on Monday but I had so much work I didn’t find the time to review up to now, I’m sorry!
It’s good that Tom got some rest so he can continue to be there for Bill. I understand he felt slightly guilty for not being there when he left for his first therapy session but he is still so supportive. Although I love the drama I am very scared of Bill going home and Steffen coming back into the picture.

The first therapy session must have been hard on Bill.
It's so good that Tom van give Bill the support he needs without many words.

Bill is taking this so hard and I hate that he thinks that anyone would be laughing at his mourning. That makes me really sad. I hope therapy will help him find a way to cope with his loss. And Tom, of course. I love how he is there for Bill, even if they are not talking a lot. I’m sure it means a lot to Bill being supported by Tom.
I don’t usually say that I can’t wait for Sunday night on a Friday because that means the weekend is over. However, on this particular case it is true: I really can’t wait! In case you didn’t know already, let me just tell you: I love this story so much!! :)
Author's Response: Yeah, this is really affecting him and it’s hitting him hard. There are several topics I want to touch on with this fic! Yes, absolutely. I mean it’s kind of symbolic in that he’s always been there at the office, even if they aren’t talking, he has still been there for Bill so I guess this can be seen as similar, if that makes sense. It must be so hard for Bill to say goodbye to his daughter. And I can feel the emotions and the sadness in every word you‘re writing. I love that Tom is supporting Bill so well, it must be hard for him, too, although he is not the one who lost a child. It breaks my heart that, additionally to everything he has to go through, Bill also needs to worry what will happen when he is going home. I really hope that by then he maybe will have confided in Tom and told him about Steffen so he can save him. As always, thank you for this story (you know I love it but I will keep saying it) and I can’t wait for more!

What are you doing? I actually cried reading this one. It was heartbreaking and so emotional. It must be so hard for Bill holding his daughter. The daughter who will never open her eyes, who will never run around and play with other children, and who will never grow up to be Bill‘s absolute world. It must be devastating. And Bill blames himself which is even more shattering. I just hope he will come out of this OK and will be able to leave this behind him some day, and I hope Tom will be there for him along the way.
Tom is just great. I mean, Bill is his boss whom he couldn’t really stand just hours before. And now everything has changed for both of them.
Despite the sadness I love this story so so much, it is so well written and I am beyond excited for each new chapter. I already can’t wait for the next one.

The next few are quite emotional too, and the chapter I have just finished writing and the current one I aim to finish tonight, are just as bad! There was so much emotion in this chapter , couldn’t help but get teary eyed.
I hate that Bill is blaming himself but it’ll probably take him a while to completely understand that it’s not his fault.

I was so happy that Tom promised Bill that he wouldn’t leave him and actually stuck with his promise.
I feel that Bill is more confused and angry at that fact that his birth control hadn’t worked. I don’t think he ever really wanted a baby with Stephen. But it’s still a heart breaking and traumatic event.
Can’t wait for the next chapter to hopefully see how they interact with each other when he wakes up!

Even though that baby was probably not conceived in love (at least I am assuming this if it was Steffen‘s) it still must be heartbreaking. Bill hasn’t probably processed the whole situation by now and I really hope Tom can give him comfort and support when it hits him. I am also very excited to see how they will interact when Bill wakes up as they will surely have a special kind of connection now.
