As mentioned in another review, I'm pretty sure this is the first (or one of the first) THF fic I read when I found this site and began adding fics by the handful to my tracked list. I love this story so much. I've probably read it through about 4 times or so. I come back to it every now and then because it was such a 'comfort story' to me. Bill and Tom slowly trusting each other and helping each other is so wholesome. Their relationship being based on honesty and healthy conflict resolution and consent is just amazing. Bill is also just the right amount of 'damaged' to be super adorable at the same time.

Thank you for this great story. I like your writing style and I think you both harmonize really well as a writing team. I love reading your stories.
This story makes it clear to me what love is capable of. With the help of love, Bill has managed to get his fears under control and lead an almost normal life again. Of course, the therapy was good for him too, there's no denying that. But if it wasn't for Tom, he certainly would never have gone into therapy.
What was sad for me was that his parents just labeled him as crazy and didn't really try to help him or give him the help he needed. On the contrary, they simply wanted to deport him. This is certainly very difficult for a 12-year-old child to cope with and understand. Luckily, he had his sister who caught him and always stood behind him. I can totally understand that Bill has no contact with his parents. I think it's all the nicer that he gets along so well with Gordon and even called him Dad quite quickly.
In the end, I'm really pleased that Bill feels ready to have his own little family and has agreed to marry Tom.

It's good to see that they are both good for each other, also if I think that Tom is too demanding. Bill changed already so much in such a short time.
But as long as Bill is okay with it, its okay. I just fear that it becomes too much for him.

I'm just wondering, what would happen if one of them would get sicke - catch a cold, fever, or what ever. would Bill think he/andy/tom will die? Would he fear of death? Or would he be aware of, that its just a simple what ever?

I like how Bill talked openly about his kinks, issues and sex practics.
And how Tom openly accepted them. Cant wait to read how they have sex. I think it will be really interesting, because it seems so different to what tom knows and because it seems as tom didnt enjoyed sex before, because he said it was just in, out, over.
I'm just sceptic for ther relationship. Bill is such a controllfreak, or better a ... he wants to be in controll and he is so good with andy. Cant imagine he just ends it with andy. It also would be a little weird if he is such a controllfreak but gives in in every wish tom has. (I actually hope it isnt that easy, because Bill is a complicated character, so it would be better if it really isnt that easy):
Maybe tom is also a bit naive. Looking for a bit drama, but much fluff too.
