I just love the atmosphere of this. Witches and magic makes me feel super comforted for some reason, and you nailed it. (also, the research for this must have been super fun xD)
I love how you wrote their family, the way they treat magic - as a natural thing for them, but also something Tom rejects, which makes it feel even more real, not just movie-like of oh yeah everyone is good with magic let's go. It was a nice touch.
ALSO. THE PLOT TWIST OF GEORG TOTALLY GUESSING MAKES IT P E R F E C T. Because of fucking course, he's been friends with Bill half his life, he's not dumb, so that makes fucking sense. And him doing research is the MOST adorable thing in the world. Like. I can't. I just can't, this is the most adorable thing ever.

Author's Response: Okay, this is gonna be a longish response haha. 1) I sometimes read reviews before fics too, and I also can't figure out why! 2) the research was super fun though I am a little witchy myself (not as much as I used to be, mind you) 3) I'm kind of tempted to write something else from this universe. I love the contrast between the banner and the story. With the banner and the summary it looks like some scary stalker story about a Bill who is not about to take a no for an answer, and then it's about cute and fluffy magic! Adorable.
Author's Response: Hahaha, thank you! I did toy with a much less sinister banner but it just... didn't do it for me. So it ended up with this and I thought Paris would appreciate the creepy spooky banner 😂
