Hey girls! I've just started reading this story so I suddenly pop in to leave my review so far, as always.
I'm kinda torn tho and I hope none of you is going to take it badly (I'll try my best to explain what I mean).
This story started off AMAZING, I looove long chapters and it was so fun to finally have something like this and the overall idea was amazing, to have Bill being this kind of "naive" boy having to write such an article to further his career haha
Their first interaction was amazing, I'm a sucker for instant attraction and the way Tom was kinda playful and immediately interested in Bill is something I live for HAHA
What I find super odd, and honestly out of character, is this last chapter?? Like maybe it's just me, but it feels like I'm reading about two completely different characters.
I think rule number one of BDSM is consent and Tom started off by wanting the article to be as informative as possible, so I don't get how he is suddenly losing a grip on what consent means.. I don't get it.
At first he was calm and understanding, sure he wanted to get Bill into his world, but he was willing to slowly coach Bill, while now he's like "you either sign or good fucking bye"??
He loses his temper/control waaay to easily to be a Dom and if consent is the number one rule, he shouldn't want to force Bill into this and he shouldn't feel free to grab him and "punish" him before the contract even started?
Same goes for Bill, I find this development super weird for him as well. I feel like he went from being smart and interested ('cause let's remember he jerked off while reading the contract?? So a part of him HAS TO be intrigued, even tho he might be scared as well) to being a total brat and just.. insult Tom? Like how is he supposed to write something good if he's so judging of this whole thing? He suddenly doesn't want to understand anything about this world.
If this is his real behaviour there is no reason for him to sign the contract, he would do it completely out of his will and someone who's into it (Tom) shouldn't allow you to sign without actual consent, I think.
Sure he gets excited when Tom touches him, but he lost all interest beside that? The way he treats Tom without even listening to him and trying to learn is weird..
I really hope you don't get this review wrong, I'm just "sad" because I was really getting into this story but now the characters don't make sense to me.. Bill is a total ass and so is Tom, just in different ways?
I hope they can recover and maybe get a grip on what's happening because both of them have a lot to learn, I think.
I hope this can be useful in a way. I'll wait to see how this develops!

Starling: I am very glad you enjoyed the beginning. It was so much fun to write all the way through. Shaddix and I did talk when this post first went live because a lot of people had concerns of a similiar thread. This was supposed to be a hard day for both of them so they were both a bit tired. Bill had already agreed to the contract and everything involved but Tom did come down a bit like a tone of bricks. We did work on softening both of them in future chapters. I appreciate the feedback so much though. I hope you read and enjoy the rest of the story.
rnShaddix: I completely understand where you are coming from and we both had a discussion about this chapter as we were writing and again recently. We do agree it was a little OOC. The way we wrote it, we wanted it to be a long and emotional day - especially for Bill. He is like this because he doesnt understand the rules and is fustrated. He had already signed the contract when he had jerked off the previous night. I really appreciate you review and we do take it all into consideration. We do reign them back in the next chapter and I hope you continue to read and enjoy this story.

I don’t see how Tom can be a good Dom. He loses his temper too easily and doesn’t have a good control over it. It felt also violating and wrong for Tom to start controlling and punishing Bill before the contract has even started. These are all red flags. I think Bill made a mistake agreeing to their arrangement.

I'm not into that sub-dom thing and I hope that soon not every writer of th ffs thinks he should write about dom-sub (oh please, does no one have normal sex anymore? haha) also you see that most of the writers dont know really much about it, or they cant write it that way, its more like just smutti things.
But your ff is something different. I dont know, but your tom has something special. I like your charakters and it reads so ... yeah, its legit. It reads like it is real what happened and you just wrote it done. Like you know what you write about (maybe thats it)
So ... I believe what they talk about, think and feel. I like that story, so please keep writing :)
