Hi lovely! I'm going to admit that I haven't read this, mainly because my biggest phobia is ghosts/paranormal and the pairings couldn't even sway me on this occasion. That doesn't mean that I don't absolutely adore you or your work, though. You should know that! < 3

Unfortunately, there has been a massive decline on this site in both of our absences. I've only just returned this month after a few years hiatus (got pregnant, gave birth at 26 weeks, stayed in hospital with baby until she was fit and healthy to go, etc) and I've noticed the drastic drop in reads and ESPECIALLY reviewers when I began posting again. It's disheartening. Upon my return, I did check out your profile to see if you had written anything new and you hadn't at the time. Then I saw this little gem and your name in my most recent, fangirled a smidgen, but then I noticed the content. I will definitely give this a go in time, though - I just need to mentally prepare myself and have a night where I can give it my 100% attention. I promise I'll drop proper reviews when I'm able to, though. I won't just lurk and leave.

Author's Response: Hello there, Peaches! Thank you for writing! I'm sorry your phobia makes this story too difficult to read =( It's not scary, just things getting thrown around. I lived in a couple of poltergeisty/haunted apartments and I've had quite a few paranormal events happen in my life. I've also been a tarot card reader for many years, and I dabble in astrology. So the paranormal is interesting and I've never encountered anything scary. I heard a woman's voice in my house not too long ago, at 4:30 in the morning, and just went about getting ready for work. The voice pops up maybe once a year and there's nothing else that happens, so I don't consider the house "haunted." It's more like "eh, there she is again. What's for dinner?" rnrnI'm so disappointed that this website has dwindled - I had been looking forward to chatting with previous readers! Congratulations, by the way, on your baby girl! And I'll definitely be checking out your stories - I haven't read much on this site for a while (am I part of the problem??), mostly because after years (ten! Yikes!) it really starts to feel like rehash. But all the free slash-fiction websites like fictionpress have also dwindled over the last few years. I think most people are publishing for profit now, which is just depressing. When it's for profit, they have to polish up their writing into bland formulaic romances instead of long, rambling, interesting stories with no rules. It's one of the reasons I have no desire to try writing to publish - it really has to go by exact parameters. rnrnI will be getting to your stories.
