I love how now, while rereading the start of this story, I can't help but picture it like the banner. It will never look different to me xD

I really hate and love how you wrote Bill's dad. Like, with the line
"Do you never think of the consequences to your actions?" it just looks like a normal dad being angry at his son, and then the lines after make it SO CLEAR how he's just caring about himself & his reputation. And oh, a reunion has been interrupted, that's so annoying. Damn. Asshole.

And I think that works a lot on giving Bill's character depth, and not having him just being a brat. Like, he kinda is, but he's also so much more than that ?

And ugh, the end. The "kiss a girl, for once" just gets me everytime.
