I'm still so impatient for some alone time for William and Thomas, it seems to be almost impossible for them to become friends in such times and place... Thomas is still working and William... actually I don't know what does he do with his free time... :D
Author's Response: hahaha that one actually made me laugh! You're totally right to wonder since nobility at this time didn't do much to occupy their time, but it started to change with the war. After 1918, most of them began wondering about their purpose in life, and those who didn't kinda disappeared with their estates. But poor William must be awfully bored, since he doesn't take much part in the manadgement of the estate.. :/ Anyway I will try to tell more about him cause you make me realise that I've been more focused on Tom somehow... Thank you so much for your review as always <3 (and some alone time for the two should happen in the next chapter ;) at least I think so ^^ maybe :p)

Sooo I do hope that your soon won't be Bill's soon because I'm really interested in this story and I really love good period pieces for which the author has really done some research, like this one. Soon I'll upload another period piece (I've already written two, I'm a history geek : P ) and I'm studying quite a lot in advance, so I feel you a lot. Looking forward to more!

Soo as many authors here know, I absolutely love leaving the first review on a story and I always try to do it, especially because few people will review someone who is new to writing or someone they haven't read before.
So, about the story itself, the intro wasn't very long, but I like the way you presented the social class difference betwen the characters. I've done a victorian England period piece in the past so I'm really looking forward to seeing what you will do with this one, it's an interesting era and I think you'll make it an interesting fic too. Thanks for this chapter!
