THIS IS INSANELY CUTE I CAN'T ALSO MERMAIDS ARE THE BEST THING EVER
I am now imagining Bill in pastel clothes because to me mermaids = pastel and shiny glittery things and I love that. Also your exlpanation about mermaids is so interesting, I had never thought about it this way but I love it !
The plot was simple, yet catchy and entertaining. I loved it - I want a sequel too !

I just had an email from THF saying that this had been posted, and man, am I glad I decided to follow up. I love it!!! The character descriptions are perfect, the dialogue is perfect. Everything just goes together really nicely. :)
Great as a one shot but I've a feeling that readers, including me, will want more.
