Author's Response: Thank you! Poor Bill indeed, he's a suffering boy but he has his Tom.

JESUS CHRIST, I've just wrote a review for this chapter and had to delete it. I completely forgot that this site introduced bottom!Bill as a genre, so I saw "bottom!" and assumed it was bottom!Tom. Then, like the complete tit I am, I badgered on about bottom!Tom for something close to an entire paragraph. FML.

My God, you're breaking my heart with this.

I really hate the thought of Bill so lost and depressed like this. I naively always think Tom is there to ensure Bill doesn't get to that stage, but life has its own path and sadly, Tom can't always protect Bill from the inevitable. I feel for Tom mostly, though. You're portraying his worry and hopelessness amazingly well. I mean, if any of this did happen or was to happen in the future, Tom would be fucking beside himself and you've captured that perfectly within this first part. < / 3
