In many families with adopted kids, parents tell kids that they were adopted already in early childhood. It's not unusual. This way it's not as traumatic as it would be if a stranger would tell the truth to the kid.
Author's Response: Absolutely! But Bill is very overprotective and as a result, Michael leads a very sheltered and unfortunately, isolated, life. Bill had put off the talk for so long and now he finds himself cornered as a result. :(

This was a really difficult chapter to write, and I didn't really want to keep Elsa around for too long because I wanted the story to focus on the twins more than anything. Also, I hate writing het! Lol. Anyways, my apologies if you didn't enjoy it but I do hope you stick around! There is a method to all of this madness. :)
