I really hope they can work things out!! Is this a direct sequel to Basai or is it more of another take on the situation? Cuz of its a direct sequel, does this Emperor remember Tom and will those memories get brought up?

Author's Response: Yep, a lot of the 'big reveals' here were already covered in Basai, so they wouldn't have been a surprise if you'd read that. Which might be half the fun?

I am so sorry for Bill, he has to ho throught a lot of things he does not understand or remember from is 'empire life' but I like that he wants to know the truth and what happened to him. It's clear his Tom, as a Twin, does not exist anymore but I am confident he'll like the emperor soooo much!
Oh I've always forgot to tell that I hope the 'Major Character death' is for twin-Tom or for Bill before coming back.... I could not bear it actually haha

Author's Response: Bill is so so confused. And Emperor Tom is still his twin (or at least A Bill's twin), he's just...more, too.
The Major Character Death was totes for 'our' Tom. I don't think anyone would have cottoned to me killing him off and marking it as 'minor'. No one else is gonna die. :)

I can't tell you how excited I am to see this back up. I'm his was my favorite of the Basai series. The first chapter made me tear up a bit.
