Soo, finally I'll read this story. Also I'm not sure I'm able, because I'm so hard crying ._. Don't know really why. Sure tom died and all, but he does in other storys too, and it was never so difficult to cry ... Hope it stops at the next chapter, I want to be able to read that story without crying like ... whatever ... But: Great chapter, great story, great Idea. Actually I googled for Basai, but didnt got good results for a movie ...

Poor Bill is a little slow on the uptake when he's actively trying NOT to think of someone ~*like that*~. Just cause kisses make you lose your breath and make your skin feel like it's crackling, that doesn't actually mean anything. *shifty eye*

It's so sweet that Bill is starting to understand how much impact Emperor Tom has on him and how much he actually likes him! And I sure Tom is missing him as well and wants to give him the kiss he denied ;)
Btw, Bill will surely enjoy things getting hot between them haha

Whew I'm so glad he didn't come home to some crazy scenarios I was thinking of lol. Wasn't expecting him to tell anyone about Tom just yet but I mean Gustav is probably the most open minded when it comes to things like this. Not to mention he's only going to say what is necessary
This was a good chapter, I'm excited to see what's next for Bill!
Author's Response: Yep, nothing too bizarre or crazy. At worst, the time difference is more like time zones than like mythical realms, so it's been a few days and maybe a couple hours since Bill left.
Bill's totally having a little mental crisis over the whole thing, so, since he can't talk to his Tom, not really, it's Gustav time! Let the Schafer be the voice of reason he needs. :D

:) I just started reading this story. I read 'major character death' and I made that mistake once (lmao) and I was scared because I'm a baby. But, I wanted to read it and now I'm glad I did.
I've never read the other one so I hope I'm not confused, but I really enjoyed this one so far :)
I felt really bad for both of them, they both lost each other- and 'found' them again, but so different. No matter how you look at it, it's strange to change your relationship. But I hope Tom visits :) either way this goes. I'll be happy, they're both so sad now 😭

I don't think that reading this one without reading the other one should be confusing, really. It's the same universe, but aside from that, the stories have nothing to do with each other.

I wish I had insomnia-curing magic xD But then I wouldn't be reading this right now, so. More magic in Basai could have been good, though it could also have distracted from the real story if used too much. It's a thin line. Bill seems to have gotten rather comfortable where he is, as has the Emperor with Bill not being his Bill. This could be a good thing. (At least until/if Simone sticks her nose in, that might mess things up a little)

It's got to be nice to know, or be willing to believe, that Bill's not some poor, tortured version of HIS Bill that came back all wrong, and that he's not gone mad, either. Him being a whole different Bill has to feel a lot better than being unloved.
