Have you thought about how Tom pretty much resembles the seven deadly sins? I mean, he's pretty fucking pissed at all times (wrath), he's in a way greedy since (In my believe) he's helping the hotel out for the money he earns from it, he is proud as fuck and not afraid to make a show of it, he's a chef and a food lover hence gluttony, lusts after certain young ones, sloth - he didn't want to do it in the first place, but his father preeety much made him (again, greed). However, envy is discussable but in my eyes he sorta is envious of his father because of his fame!
However! Bill pretty much resembles the seven virtues; he's a prude when it comes to Tom's lust after him (lets just pretend he kinda knows it) hence prudence, restrains himself of doing harm to his idiot family - temptation, and in his cooking he shows courage (since he cooks, even though he would be in trouble if his father found out), love, faith and hope - because he keeps creating food, he keeps loving and hoping and have faith in something that he loves to do and is talent at! Justice - he justifies not cooking for the hotel because Gordon dosen't like it? Eh, that one is kinda Twilight Zone, but still.

I have to keep this in mind 'cause it just works!! :D But well Tom's anger is mostly just 'cause it makes the show better but he does have it so yeah the theory still holds up! :D Damn you're good!! :D

That was a good chapter !! Every time Tom makes a comment on the food or the hotel I can totally picture it ! This is so good ! I can almost taste the bad food on my tongue ahahah
I can't wait to see how Tom is gonna do. Like maybe Tom gonna show some food to Gordon, says he made that but it was Bill and he's gonna tell that after Gordon said it was so good. Or maybe I've watched too many movies ahahah. Anyway, I'm looking forward for the next chapter !!

I have to admit I immediately wanted to read it because of the quote, I love Virginia Wolf and that's one on my favorites ever! I am glad I decided to read it because even if it's just the first chapter I like it!! Can't wait to see l'amour between these two ;)
