I am also glad you like the intamacy even when it is not all hardcore kinky. I can write kinky smut very well but I do sometimes struggle with the milder stuff so I am glad it reads well. I had fun writing that. I wanted it to be a bit stitled and awkward but mostly I wanted to show that Bill's parents really do support him. They may voice their concerns in private but they will never say things like that in font of Tom. They would never make Tom or Emily feel uncomfortable. I have to admit that I dont like it when they are like this. A little slap on the ass is okay. But joking with cocks, or fucking till its hurt - nope. Sure, its a kink, but I cant see hurting and joking and bad language with love.
Also it was never ever mentioned before by one of them, so it feels like Bill is just doing it because Tom likes it. It just dont read or feels authentic. So I hope the lemons in the future have less kink in it or there are no more lemons. Sorry :(

It's a bit sad that Bill thinks his relationship could end and he doesn't want Em to suffer for it. Bill already went through a relationship that seemed almost perfect and that ended very badly, luckily he had Tom to heal his wounds and he had no time to mourn.

I wanted to show Bill as a bit gun shy because he did have a relationship that could have went the distance. I also wanted to show he was trying to look out for Em's well being. It's something that when kids are involved that you have to deal with. If they get attached and then the relationship goes south, the kid could end up hurting too. I hope you enjoy the next chapter. My gf is feeling much better but I got a cold right after so in for another week of soup, tissues and cold meds. Here's hoping it blows over quickly.

I loved the beginning scene. I like when Tom is a bit dominating, but not too dominating and I think you nailed it... so to speak! The rest of the chapter was lovely too. I enjoy being a step-parent of sorts to my gf's kid. It is very rewarding but at times confusing. There's no real way of knowing how the rules shift day to day. I totally know what it's like when you have a perfectly good scene in your head and you need to work up to it. I hate when my brain decides to come up with this perfect scene so far in advance because then my story stalls and the perfect scene never comes to fruition. I am glad you all understand and are willing to wait on chapters. Joy of writing for other writers is they understand when writing just doesn't happen. I am excited and super nervous about it. I am so exhuasted from work as well cause I'm learning a new position as well as still taking care of my current responsiblities.
rnEmily and Bill is something I enjoy writing. The dialogue flows so naturally which is unusual for me. I usually struggle with my dialogue. My stories are usually more description than dialogue. This one the dialogue is super easy to write which I have found makes it easier to read. The dad voice thing hit me out of nowhere and I am glad everyone responded so well to it. It could have easily been a decision that turned people off to the story. I am glad you liked. If the implication of rough is hot you'll die on the next chapter. Enjoy. Thanks for the review.
