I forgot how much I loved this story! I reread it the past few days and I fell in love with Tarot Card reading Bill (and twinkling eyes Tom) all over again. It’s such a great story and one of my favorites!

I miss writing and I'm trying to come up with new stories for this site, but I really miss the Young Twins and Bushido! I had started a Halloween fic, maybe I can pick it up again. Thank you for this really great story. I could have read on forever and in the end was really disappointed when it was over. I would like to hear more about the relationship between Tom and Bill and how they master their everyday lives and whether they really manage to get old and gray together. But I am really glad that Bill finally realized who he really loves and who is the right person for him. Unfortunately, this was not without failures, but the real life is not a wish concert and it can’t be avoided to first experience bad things before the end, something good comes out. And what Bill has experienced has been really intense. But I also have to say that what Zane has experienced for years was not really great and he also has to carry his package and has not overcome all that. I think he was right, too, that it could never have worked in the long run between them. Sahra and everything that had to do with her would have always been between them.
With Tom, however, he can live completely free and must not be afraid and the ghosts of the past will certainly leave him alone soon, because now that he is no longer with Zane together, he can rather complete with the whole thing.
But in the end I have to confess honestly that during the first chapter I thought to stop reading, because Bill Slang made it really hard for me. But after several chapters that was not a problem anymore and I'm really glad that I finished the great story.

Author's Response: Angeleyes! I'm so sorry, I had meant to answer this right away, and then life promptly got away from me, and here it is, weeks and weeks later, how rude of me! I do appreciate your review, and re-reading it is making me wonder if this story needs a sequel. I am, after all, in need of a story to write, and the other option is fixing some older ones of mine that just seem soooo baaaad now. Or another one I'm thinking of where Tom and Bill are a pair of New York clubbing twins who are just a little bit out there. We'll see, but I do think you're right about needing to see where THIS Tom and Bill headed, so maybe I'll get out a shortie. I'm so happy to know you stuck with this one even though that accent was hard to read, thanks for letting me know that! I've finally managed to sit down and read the last few chapters. Loved this whole story and just sorry I've been so bad about keeping up and reviewing. I'm so happy Bill ended up with Tom but do feel bad for Zane.It would never have worked out though, his jealousy would always have got in the way and unfortunately I don't think he'd ever be free of Sarah. It would be interesting to have a little insight into Bill's first visit to California with Tom. We have Tom and Zane's reaction to the peculiarities of life in Bill's neck of the woods, be interesting to see what Bill makes of LA. Sorry again for losing touch. Author's Response: Hello, Helen! I've missed you! Seen some of your pics on facebook, love the garden and the puppy, he's just too frickin' adorable! Knowing how much work a new house and new puppy and kids' marriages/moving/big event, etc are, it is totally understandable that you weren't able to review. You're right that Zane is just a jealous guy and would always have made Bill miserable with that. Jealous people, well, I think that's just what they DO. He'd also have kept Sarah's ghost around. Bill needed to get rid of him, even if he wasn't going to be with Tom. I'm really thinking we need to see this Bill at Disneyland... life is going steady here, and I'm hoping to start another story soon (it keeps me from reading the news too much - I'm telling you, it's scary here! lol...) I'll write soon. Love you!

My goodness I was not ready for this to end but you ended it beautifully! I hope raf wasn’t too heartbroken to be left at dinner like that but such is life. Alls fair in love and war right? Awwww I was not expecting this to be the last chapter :( I kind of felt it coming as soon as I began reading, though. I just had a feeling.

I am so glad Bill went back to the restaraunt and told Tom how he felt. Maybe would have enjoyed some type of brawl between him and Rafael but this was good too lol I’m so glad you gave me my happy ending lol Thank you! I always knew they were meant to be together. I am definitely going to miss all of these characters, especially Billy. This has been such a wonderful story and I’ve been so glad to experience it. Thank you for writing it and sharing it with us all. It’s been a blast to read, that for sure! I can’t wait to see what you come up with next as I feel like I’m going to be going through withdrawals from this one haha

Can't even explain all the emotions this story is giving me, especially the last two chapters. My heart aches for them, had to grab the kleenex. It's killing me that Bill is trying to push away/block/ignore the signs about Tom. What in the world does it take to open his damn eyes....or finally follow where his mind & heart are leading him. I will be anxiously waiting for more!

I'm more worried Bill is going to force himself to feel more for Tom than he's ready to feel, things that might come in time, but he just simply doesn't have yet, just so he doesn't lose Tom as a friend and POTENTIAL boyfriend. He likes Tom, always has, and he's slowly coming to like him more and more, but now he's being rushed because Tom was already THERE and got tired of waiting. Tom's being impatient and pushy! But I think he's also saying, "I don't think you'll ever be that way about me, but I have to check one more...or two more...maybe three..more...times just to be absolutely sure, then I've got to move on." Let's see if he's still willing to wait for Bill or if he's going to say "No, enough's enough," and just decide to be with Raf instead.... Hm......
