Poor Tom! I know that he’s a monster now and that his friends just want to save him, but still, my inner Tom girl can’t stand reading about him being hurt. Especially that part with a spear in his eye made me cringe. Of course, it’s all for greatest good and as we seen in the past a vampire healing abilities are impressive, but the scene of capturing Tom was really heavy. And so vividly written it made my skin crawl, so good job :).
Tom’s master on blood high surprised me a bit, we’ve never seen her like that before. And she was humming the song that Bill recognized. Does it mean that she has some memories from previous life hidden deep down? It was the first time I saw a human in her and now I’m very curious about her story.
Despite the serious tone of this chapter, David’s comment about Bill’s anorexia rumors made me laugh. I love this part! But my favorite thing in this chapter was Bill seeing his brother close for the first time since transformation. It was very sad and touching.
My living situation slowly keep getting better, I found a nice apartment and hope that I will be able to move in soon :). Thank you for being so nice and read you next time!
Author's Response: Yeah, Tom hasn't got the best of times right now, neither do the others. I'm also kind of a Tom-girl, but somehow I like to make it hard for him o.o I don't know why. Capturing him though was somehtign I didn't want to make cheesy or even easy, so I guess my twisted brain thought "hey, let's do it like this" o.o rnTom's master is a special one, and she was simply so full with blood that she didn't need to hunt no more that night. She definitely has some bits and pieces flashing around. There is some backstory to her that will be revealed in the last phase of the story sometime. rnI needed David to at least make somebody crack a smile during the chapter. My story is quite heavy and bloody, so a little joke here and there...even if it's a small one couldn't hurt^^rnI love the part too where Bill sees Tom in detail after everything went south and slowly understands that it won't be easy to bring the old Tom back. rnI'm happy that your living situation gets better! You're also very nice to me and I love your reviews, I think a good reason to care^^ So read you next time ;)

They catch him! Im glad. So intense the whole chapter but more intense and sad where Bill look at Tom sleeping :( I hope Tom can be saved. I hope will be a million chapter more before that because this fic is the best! I love it! Thanks!

I'm pleasantly surprised that David and Elliot reacted with understanding to Bill's plans. I was a bit worried that they're gonna stand with George, but it seems like they're willing to help despite their doubts. I think I was giving them too little credit ;).
I love the ending and Gustav - nice, peaceful Gustav - attacking George. Being on this island and having to fight to survive will be life changing expierience, for everyone. But maybe they will come out of this stronger. If they make out of this alive ;).
I can't wait for more action. I hope George's not gonna die yet. I want him alive and messing with Bill's plans, he's my favourite shady character!

Author's Response: Those two have kinda betrayed Bill before and feel bad about it, so they try to make it right. David is also someone the boys have in their lives since years, he just can't stand against them yet again. And I mean..george just left them without torches in a dark cave...that doesn't help getting friends. rnrnI guess what doesn't kill you makes you stronger is a saying that is quite literal on this island xD In real life, Gustav is actually really sarcastic in what he says in german. Many of the translations are a bit "nicer" than what he actually means and says. In this story he's a bit more peaceful^^ rnrnGeorge will be gone for a few chapters, but trust me he'll be back when you don't expect it! rnrnGreat I can cheer you up ;) I hope your living situation turns out ok in the end!

I love that Tom's getting more independent. Some times ago he did everything his master wanted him to do. Now he makes his own decisions, he's stronger and smarter. He also seems more human than the rest of his kind. That might be a good thing, but on the other hand Tom might be really dangerous...
George's idea with scent covering was good, but well - not good enough to beat vampire senses. I wonder what are his further plans.
I've got a really bad day (just find out that I have to move out of my current flat and the timing is worst possible), so thanks for new chapter to cheer me up :).
Author's Response: I love that too, he's slowly growing out of being the obedient child of his master^^ He's also the only vampire on the island, who was never starving. Of course a smarter and stronger predetaor is a force to reckon with, not to mention that the human mind can be the cruelest monster in our world. George's idea could only fool the ones not interested in any other smell than human or the despesperate ones, so yeah not good enough for fooling Tom. Oh gosh, I'm so sorry for your situation. I hope you can figure things out as well as possible. Hopefully the story can cheer you up as long as you need it! Take care and good luck!

And the bomb has dropped! Poor Bill must be really confused now. I mean, is Tom being vampire a bad news or good news? He might be not as dead as everyone thought, but he's bloodthirsty monster. For others that situation might be clear - the man we knew is long gone, what we see is just an enemy wearing his face. But for Bill? Could he accept that the person he love is dead, even if he saw Tom walking? I don't think he could, I know I couldn't. Seeing your loved one like this must bring some kind of twisted hope, make you wondering if there's chance for them, some cure maybe? I don't think Bill's gonna give up on Tom completely, he loves him too much.
George's girlfriend has been kidnapped? I don't think she's got a chance to make out of this alive. But I'm sure he'll want a revenge and this might end bloody. I can't wait for more action :).
Georg and Gustav were sweet in this chapter. They are really awesome friends, it's so nice to see how they care for Bill. He needs some support right now, so I'm happy they got his back.

Author's Response: I think nobody can really sort it into good or bad, what sets everyone on shaking ground...well not Tom though, I guess he wouldn't care so far xD. Which person trusts a bloodthirsty monster after all? rnI was just imagining how bad it must be, if you see a deceased loved one suddenly walking aroudn with the behavior of a disturbed animal. Then, there are so many movies and series base don vampires, where everything truns good in the end. If you grew up with that in mind, could you ignore the loved ones face inf ront of you? The situation is just cruel on Bill as well as the G's and David. Bill, I think also in real life would never give up on Tom, they just rely on each other too much. rnGeorge's girlfriend is in a hell lot of trouble...we'lls ee what he'll find in the end. There will be a nice dose of action coming^^rnI like the G's a lot in real life, just the whole interaction between all the bandmembers, I think they behave as if they were all brothers xD If they should have a big fight, deividng them, there would need to be a severe reason. rnThanks for your nice review and fear not, there's a lot more to come^^
