This is an interesting solution. I was wondering how they would solve the problem of aging Bill, because Bill would definitely refuse to turn into a vampire. That's how they can be together for a long time.

Well, what do I have to say? It was a great story and I was really happy to be able to read it.
You avoided almost every cliche and you did really well in letting things happen, then the reader didn't expected. Most storys you have a clue what happens next, but not in this one. Also you did really well in letting the reader see the things, and feel the emotions. You have a great writing style and you paid good attention to logic and to be realistic. You are a great author!
Sure, a few little things, like Tom drinking 4 people a night( that would be at least 20 liters and more, he could show a babybelly like Gustavs wife, haha – normal vampires 1, and Tom 1-2 would have been more realistic), were not that logic or wrong, but well, every book and movie has some points that not everybody thinks it's right.
It's normal that they are some kind of traumatized, but I'm sure they all will get well again and they will never forget the people they loved … Maybe they even will do their job again. For sure they have each other and thats worth a lot. And hopefully Bill will get as old as Tom, also if its means, that they have to carry in in a few years, going away from their family and the public, so no one notice that they are not getting older … Well, maybe we will read about it ;)
Mh … As I said, great story. I'm already looking forward to a sequel OS and also to your new story!

Okay, Muddi was a Bitch and a Snitch ... Sad that it went that way. She had a bad childhood, Nik wanted to make her life better and she? ... Snitch-Bitch ...
I'm a little worried abput Bill not wanting to become a vampire. Probably there is no other way to let him live longer as a human, without turning. I hope he will change his mind. He dont have to become a mindless, insane vampire. If he dont wants to shorten Toms life, he should think about it ... Also Tom cant stay long in his society, because soon people will notice that Tom is not getting older.
Because there are just two chapters left and there is so much left (In all - how will their life continue) I almost hope for a sequel :D
Author's Response: Oh I love the term Snitch-Bitch xDDDD She was a young girl who went from nothing to nearly everything. Not many people are humble enough to cope with a turn of events and she certainly wasn't. There are some things left to tell, you're right. I'm not really planning on a sequel, but rather some one-shots. There's also a new idea in my head for another story, so this one will come first I guess. But it is very likely there will be some one-shots in the future ;)

Sounds plausible. I like the explanation, also because it shows ways I didnt thought of. Like (as I understood) that Vampires ae sane, as long as they get blood. All the vampires got not enought blood, so they became insane, also Tom at the beginning, but because he isn't starving for years, he got his mind back when the chance came.
So when Bill would get changed he would be sane too ... Hm ...

Well … Disappointed that Tom didn’t kill Muddi, but sure … I understand him … a tiny little bit.
There were many emotions, I realy felt some tears in my eyes. Happy they didnt had to say goodbye. I hope they are safe now. At least Thomas is dead, yeay :D I have to go to bed, so sadly I have to wait till tomorrow, to continue reading.

I sooo dislike Thomas. I never liked him but I also never disliked him as now. Sure, if you see it from the sight from the other camp, there are 4 dudes and one vampire, who killed xx people. But they also dont show at least a little tiny bit of empathy.
I hope the time will come, that thomas will get killed. Prefered by Tom ;)
Author's Response: I actually liked him at the very beginning, but then he was breaking under the pressure of leading so many people in a terrifying scenario. They all had a bit of empathy at the beginning, hence why Thomas gave Bill permission to have Tom in that cell in the cliff,but in the end, nobody could process what happened in any way. They blamed many things on the band, some rightfully so, some things not.
