Time for Tom to be strong for Bill. And Bill needs to talk to a therapist ASAP. I guess with Tom starting to learn to cope with his issues Bill not only doesn't feel as needed but also the long, long months of holding it all together have taken their toll and he'said finally cracking under the strain. So much hurt and pain, not only from what happened at the circus but also from past abuse at Owen's hands. Yeah, Bill also has serious issues to talk through. Another great chapter. You certainly get into the minds of your characters. Love Helen x

They need each other because otherwise they can't function correctly.
Bill took care of Tom for a long time, being the protective one but Tom can be the one to protect Bill too. And by his presence he just do that.
They have things to work out, they have to talk but they love each other so much. They will be ok !!
And I don't miss that Tom is starting to use nickname for Bill ???? Cute !

They really do work better as a unit. When one needs a lift, the other one is there. When they need to be reminded to breathe and things are going to be okay, someone's around to let them know.

Good chapter. I liked their doings and thoughts. I always like it when Bill thinks so sexy :D It kind of makes him so ... imperfect? I dont know. He is always so perfect to Tom, but in his thoughts he shows what he misses.
And Tom ... well, didnt expect these words from him, but as I said already: When the thing with the sex is better, he will get better, because the sex-thing was a big issue when he was in the warehouse. Probably its the biggest part of the 'problem.
They should rush it too much but i think they are near to at least try out some things. It dont has to be sex from the start.
They are so cute together ...
Author's Response: Bill is a horny devil that would happily ride Tom into the sunset if he could. But he doesn't because he doesn't want to push Tom past what he can do. So he just thinks about it a lot. His fantasy world is probably pretty thick and lush at this point, tbh. ;)

I knew I was right about Tom needing to be on his own for a couple of days. If he hadn't left, he wouldn't have realised how much he wanted to be with Bill, and he wouldn't have been able to take him out for coffee. This is a good thing, and as painful as it was for both of them, they need to realise that.
Home is going to be so much cosier now that all of the tension is out of the way. Just Bill, Tom, and Delphine, as it should be.

As much as it sucks, both of Bill's arguments make sense, at least to me. Yeah, he was there for Tom all the time, which is a good thing. Tom definitely appreciated it. But being there too much is also a thing, and it's easily missed if you don't pay attention. I think Tom really did need some space from Bill's watch, just so he could learn to be himself again. Which he is doing, and quite well so far.
Bill needs to stop blaming himself for Owen though. Owen was a massive wanker who deserves to be hung by his thumbs off a bridge.

Having the arguments make sense makes it all the easier to convince yourself that you're right and everything is ruined FOREVER.
