Despite that, it was a very sweet chapter. The valentines cuddles were endearing and the relationship between them is just too pure. I'm in love. Thank you for this chapter.
Author's Response: Tom's always just waiting for the big misstep that's going t make Bill give up on him. Neither of them want that, but he still can't help sort of expecting it.
Tom seems the type to make a big effort on VDay (if the relationship is at 'big effort' levels. If it's been, like, three days, maybe no so much). I can totally see him making a card and everything. :)

I loved this chapter, I love them, more and more everytime. They are so good for each other. Tom makes bigs steps, I don't think he would have think about offering flowers to Bill a few months ago, he think more about Bill and start to show more love to him. It's slow but it feels real. Tom is broken but Bill help him to collect pieces and it's works.
They are so cute, my heart melted like crazy and now I'm all emotional at work.
I can't wait to be next week to see more of those two !

Tom makes me so sad in this story. His scars are lying too deep and that makes him unreachable for Bill. He still has that mindset of being unworthy and never being good enough for Bill and not even Bill can seem to change that. Let's see what's gonna happen next...

I wasn't expecting that Tom would want to be alone for this. And it must be hard for Bill who was there every time Tom needed and for once, he didn't wanted him there.

I'm curious to know what Tom wrote. Do we get to see it eventually, or at least an abridged version, like during the trial? Because my mind is doing awful things to Tom right now >< I'm happy he's got it all off his chest at last though, writing really does help, even if it's in private. Author's Response: Tom wrote a lot. The plan is to not actually divulge what went on. Hint at, yes, but straight out say that, like, they had to box kangaroos or whatever, nope. I do have my own mental framework of what went on, though, so maybe ours jive, maybe yours is worse, maybe mine is. Who knows. ;)
