I actually chuckled at the end of this chapter. I hate that this dragging on that Tom's anxiety is really messing with him. Don't worry me hating something means you wrote it well lol. I know how Tom feels with those meds as I've been on anti anxiety meds and they suck in my opinion. I'd rather be anxious. Back to the story, another puppy would be so cute. I think Tom really could benefit from having another dog. That way when Delphine is busy he could snuggle with another furry baby. :) excited to see where this goes and I hope that they go to jail. Because I couldn't imagine them getting wrapped up in that shit again. I feel like they'd just end up dying.

I love Bill and Tom's talks. You are so good at getting inside their heads. I hope in the end those scumbags get locked up for the rest of their days and Bill and Tom get to live happily ever after. I'm so glad there's more already, I've really gotten into this story and I love Tom's character so much I honestly could read this all day. He gets right to my heart when he has a bad day and I literally sit here wishing I could get down on that floor and give him a hug as I read. Of course it would probably set him off even more but he's just so adorably broken and I love him. *tiny squeal of joy!*

Oh how I love this story and your characters! It's so sad to see Tom like this, After all the progresses he made in the last period. But at the same time he's doing so good trying not to push Bill away! That's what love makes you able to do!

Flawless chapter. It's so easy to feel what Tom's feeling, to understand what he's going through. I couldn't put it into better words myself.
Bill is an actual angel, I swear. How is he able to say all the right things and make Tom stop freaking out with seemingly no effort at all. Everyone should have a Bill.

Bill's gotten really good at nattering on until Tom starts to fall out of his own head and back into the world. Sometimes that's dead exactly what you need. :)

Your chapters have this magical effect of making me cry every single time. The way you describe everything is so precise and detailed, It's like a film in your head! About the chapter: Poor Tom still believes he's worthless because of those arseholes beating those nasty words into him!! We don't know what happened in the circus but seeing how Tom bounced right back into his old habits shows that it must have been really really awful. :( Anyway their relationship is strong enough to bear through this and to fight this monster in Tom's head together!

I love this story so much. It's hard to find words after reading this, I mean, it's so heartbreaking but they love each other so much. It's sad and sweet at the same time. They complet each other in such a perfect way.
I am very sad for Tom, he's been through a lot and he have to bring back all this bad memories again. I hope the trial will be over soon (and that they'll win the case) so Tom can breathe again.
It's not easy for Bill either, but I guess he handle this very well. He must feel heartbroken too but he's here for Tom, as always.
I really look forward for next week.

Omg, I hadn't read this story in months because I've had no time to come back to the site. But I remembered exactly where I left of the moment I saw it and you've had me hooked right in again for a solid nine hours.
It doesn't feel right saying "it's good" when I talk about this story, because it's honestly one of the darkest things I've ever read here, but there's just something about it that really draws you in and you have to keep reading it. In fact, no I don't just read it, I can see every scene you write as I go
I haven't read any characterisations of Bill and Tom that have made me feel so strongly for them in years. Their bond is the sweetest and, even if I do have a special place in my heart for whenever things get a little much for either of them and they freak-out, the progress they've made to even get this far after what happened is amazing I'd love to give them both a hug, I really would.
Awesome, awesome story, I'm glad I got time to come back today and catch up. Love the drama, love the sweetness, already can't wait for you to post some more.

So beautiful. I love, love, loved this chapter. I was completely engrossed to every line and it made me anxious for Tom. I could sense his fear during his testimony which made this chapter even more superb to me. I hate that lawyer for pushing Tom that far. Granted he's doing his job but holy crap, back off much? Luckily Bill was there otherwise I feel like I'm another scenario those paramedics would've sedated him. Idk. Loved this chapter and I'm excited for the future; I really wanna see how Bill helps him recover; I also would really wanna see my Tomi grow and cross another hurdle. I get so happy when Bill helps Tom through his struggle. It's just so sincere. He's trying to understand and whatever he does get, he makes sure that Tom knows that he's there.
This story really does touch me. Like emotionally. I love it so much. Can't wait to read more.

Author's Response: That lawyer was, like the people he represents, a dick. Tom probably wouldn't have done great being sedated, esp against his will, and esp if someone had to help him shamble to the waiting room/car/elsewhere.
