Hiii so you don't know me probably, I'm quite a new member on here, been om THF for about a year and a half, but I really like your work and I enjoyed very much your christmas fics too.
I normally leave reviews, but after binge reading this story, I am left quite speechless and I decided to put everything in one big review. The character development is phenomenal, one can really feel why each and every person does what they do. I like the realism which exists in all the story and the contrast with the romantic and loving moments is pure genius. I love the fact that instead of making a perfect Bill and a perfect Tom you have made two flawed and hurt real human beings who however are perfect for each other. I'm looking forward to more, though I can understand how it feels to not be inspired anymore and I really feel for you after what happened with the NA tour and Bill. Be strong and -if you can- stay creative, it may help you in the long run. Thanks for a bunch of great stories < 3

Ack, but...so many reviews.... I'll let it slide, though, since I like the idea of rendering someone speechless. Just wanting to hit the next button so so badly is a pretty good reason not to review.
I really wanted the characters and their interactions to come off as real and believable. To have them grow in a way that doesn't come off as forced or unrealistic. AND I wanted them to not be utterly perfect (though this Tom thinks that Bill is probably about 95% of the way there ;) ). So it's damn cool that it's coming across. :D
I look forward to being inspired again, too. :-\ The whole thing with NA and then rl Bill being a butt (I ran his forum for almost 8 yeeeeeeears *whine*) have done a LOT to wear the shine off of them, so, for now, it's a good idea to take a step back, because otherwise we'd end up with a 'rocks fall, everyone dies' abrupt and sudden ending, and I can't think of a single person that would be happy with that happening. So, for now, I'm well and truly buried under a frighteningly tall pile of library books, and we'll see what happens once I finally get a chance to come up for air.

Author's Response: Yep! When everyone was wigging over them announcing more European dates after saying nothing about NA aside from that one nothing message, I left a comment, and he blocked me. Not my fault they decided to blow off (and piss off) and entire hemisphere of fans and just straight up refuse to do anything to try to make it better. It's still pretty shitty that he would block the person that runs the ONLY FANPAGE (I think only) they ever mentioned on the app.

I kept seeing people trying to talk about how Lady Gaga canceled her show hours in advance and no one was mad at HER so why is everyone so mad at TH? Um, maybe because she released a statement saying WHY the shows were canceled and expressing regret over them being canceled instead of just posting 'nope' on 1/4 of her social media and never speaking of it again. You know, just an idea that maybe communication might have had something to do with people being cool with it.

I'm still ever so peeved at the way TH handled the canceled NA tour and that Bill blocked me on IG. I didn't run a forum for almost a decade to get blocked over him not wanting to get his shit together.

Two steps forward. Three steps back. Tom’s slowly pushing his boundaries and it’s honestly cute as shit. Lol. It’s also heartwarming to see Bill also taking it slow with him. Their relationship has really grown and seeing it from beginning till now has really been one crazy adventure and I’m excited to see where it goes.

Good chapter, but yeah ... I dont like hiatustime. I never like people breaking things up. Thats why I used to always wait with reading till a story is finished, because probably more than a half of the storys were broken up. It sucks when a story is good. I hope you will continue, I hope you write not just because you like(d) th, but also because you like writing.
Let's see if you get some motivation back. If not ... it would be a shame, but if you dont like writing anymore, it's the way it is.
Author's Response: Normally I would wait until I had something completely written before I started posting it, but this time I had, like, 120 pages already written and was like 'pfffft, like I'm ever going to run through THAT big of a buffer!' and thought it would be fine. Now I have about 4 pages of a partial scene, and I don't think anyone really wants a stumpy chapter that ends in the middle of a line of dialog.
I very much do enjoy writing, always have, I'm just really, really not enjoying the band anymore.

We'll have to wait and see. Maybe I'll just temp change he character names and play pretend it's orig fic to get more words down (then change them back for posting, of course).

I'm super sad that you're going on hiatus, but if it's what you need in order to figure stuff out and get motivation for writing, that's what you gotta do.
I love this story to pieces and I want to see both of them happy and just... adorable as they are! I love that Tom is comfortable enough to venture outside (with Bill by his side this time) and do normal stuff, it makes me so happy!
