Author's Response: It was fun writing drunk flirty Tom! Glad you liked their meeting. No, we can't let Runar's perfect white skin burn! He's too pretty for that ;) But Bill will see Tommi again, of course. And Tommi might be related to Tom in some distant way, far down on the family tree but if so, neither of them would know that. To be honest, I just wanted an excuse to write two Toms into my fic, haha XD Thanks for reviewing!

I've been reading but this is my first review. I feel sorry for Bill, he's like a bird in a gilded cage. He sees all the goodies on show but isn't allowed the freedom to explore. I know he can do more or less as he pleases (including getting into dangerous situations) but he's monitored and has restrictions placed on him by Tom who isn't even there. I'd be extremely pissed in the same situation so it's no wonder he acts out or gets depressed. But then I can be extremely impatient so I can see how a teenager like Bill would have a hard time being forced to wait for what he wants most...Tom to make him a vampire. I'm intrigued to know what Tom's issues are with not having sex with Bill. I can see him not wanting to take advantage while he's so young, but previously he's said never so there must be something really deep going on there. Glad you're updating each week; something to look forward to. Love Helen xx

SO nice to hear from you again :) You're right - Bill isn't allowed to do certain things (or people lol) but in the new chapter, he meets someone that he IS allowed to be with. Yeah, Tom has issues, that's for sure but you will find out what they are in the end. Thanks so much for reviewing!

So both guardians refused Bill. But it's probably better. He should find someone among the people, but not for one night. He will have to go out. That could be interesting.

Poor Bill. It's like all the changing Tom brought in his life never happened. He's back to his old lifestyle, when he thought he wasn't worthy at all. Even worse, he's truly down the path of self-destruction more than he ever did.
Bill's loneliness and desperate need to be loved caused a dependent relationship, which always leads to hell. Probably Tom has his share of fault since he never gave an explanation about why he was leaving, but I think I'm starting to guess why he left...
Also, I believe the bodyguards are there to keep an eye on Bill and eventually update Tom about how things were in his absence. It wouldn't be ratting on Bill though. Tom can't read his mind anymore and I assume he will need to know how Bill did and, in case the boy won't tell him, the bodyguards will.
You didn't mistreat Bill lol He's young and confused and it was to be expected he would mess up. Now he's back on his feet again and it's all that matters.

Author's Response: I hated to drag Bill back down into the gutter again but it needed to be done so he could learn from the experience. Why do you think Tom really left him? You always have such interesting theories! And you are right about the bodyguards. They will be updating Tom on everything that happens to Bill while he's gone. You depicted so well the difference between a human being and a vampire and the gap can't be filled. Again, no matter if the story is set in fantasy world, Bill's character never loses the traits of a boy his age. In the past, Tom has held him in his arms, displayed affection and it's so sad for Bill to endure his current coldness. He understands the reason for it; still it must hurt as hell.
I can feel Bill's loneliness and fear to be abandoned, which are worsened by the new house he obviously can't enjoy. Probably, if he was allowed to stay in Tom's apartment, he would be less scared of Tom's leaving. He takes care of Bill as he promised he would, but as far as Bill knows, once Tom leaves, he may be gone forever.
The Asian guy, yayy!!! I'm relieved he's not what I thought he was...
He and Runar do look like prison wardens, but heck, Tom has a really good taste in choosing them! XD
How sad poor Bill is :( I feel like comforting him as you'd do with a hurt kid.

Author's Response: I've always thought that a relationship between a vampire and a human cannot work simply because they are too different. Either the human must become a vampire too, so they are on equal terms, or they need to separate. If they stay together, they risk having the human turn unhealthily obsessed with what they can't have, such as in Bill's case. Here, it is best for them to be apart for a while, no matter how painful it might be for Bill. Again, what did you think the Asian guy was going to be? I'm very curious... Haha, Tom sure did pick some eyecandy for Bill's bodyguards! Maybe Tom thought it might distract Bill from thinking about him too much. Yeah, Bill is sad now but as you see, he begins to move on. Thank you for your thoughts :)

Ouch, it was a harsh lesson, but Bill needed it, definitely. Finally, he stopped to splash in your self-pity, and he started to do something good for yourself. Self-defense is good for a start. And design ... of course! :-D
