I really like this story. Right now I'm reading all the published chapters and look forward to continuing. I like how it develops the relationship between Tom and Bill, even with all the problems around. But I'm worried about Andreas. That guy has a really big problem, and told it to anyone. Perhaps that his friends find and help him somehow.

I hate people saying that teenagers can;t have real relationships or real problems because they are just teenagers. I am very worried for Andreas as well. Of course this was amazing. Tom is such a sweet guy, I'm glad Bill has him. I'm also glad the school counselor is being much nicer or at least tolerant of Bill's request to not torment him about his life outside of school. I really hope he makes it to graduation without anymore major issues with that!
Tom is very correct on his point about Bill's feelings towards his fathers condition. My biological father wasn't really in my life at all growing up. But my stepdad aka my dad raised me from the age of two! So the point tom made about genetics having no direct affect on how you feel towards a person is very true because if my was to fall ill, my whole world would crumble. But if to say my bio dad was, I'd be sad as in if a friend of mines dad was sick. I'd feel more pain for my little brothers to have to go through that. Because he raised them and they grew up with them so it would have a harder affect on them.
Either way this was a wonderful chapter, I'm really excited to see what else Tom has up those sleeves of his!

rnI felt a sense of hopelessness when my mom died but I was not very sad unfotunately. I felt like I should be and that caused more mental anguish than physical. I definitely can relate to waht you mean about your bio dad versus your stepdad. I would definitely feel worse for the people around him. That is also where I think Bill's mind is, for his mother who loves Jorg and his sister who loves him.
rnI loved writing this chapter just because this story has such a personal element to it for me.

On behalf of the perv in me, that dream was pretty awesome lol. Especially because it fueled the fire Bill needed to get his emotions somewhat more in check. I wanted Ian even being in competition with Tom to be decent. I wanted him to be hard to hate.
rnI am glad people liked that dream. I was a little nervous about putting it in, in the way I did. I wanted Bill to finally come to relization of wanting Tom in every way possible after shutting down every other possible route. I also wanted to show Tom wasn't just with Bill for the sex. He really does love Bill and wants his first to be a special and memorable as possible. I wanted Bill to come to the conclusion that Tom was his end game and trust him completely.

It is an interesting thing I have only experienced twice in my life, luckily both times I was single before I met the people I was wildly attracted to. To this day I still don't know why I felt this way only that they were very intense relationships and I definitely came out worse for the wear. I knew that dream would go over like gangbusters. Everyone loves it. It was just a very simple sequence I fit in after a pysch professor I have been tailing all week said dreams could be a manifestation of unfulfilled or repressed desire. Everyone is as surprised as I am about that thing with Jorg. It definitely blindsighted me but once it was there it couldn't be anything else. Jorg was so angry because he was hding an affair with a man, it was so obvious once it was written down. Before I found that I felt like we were missing a big part of Jorg. This chapter was a lot to take in and my review might be a tad long... Not that they usually aren't anyways lol.
So Jorg and Adam? Hmmm I guess I can see where all the bent up frustration is with Bill. Not saying that it's right but most parents see a lot of themselves in their children. He probably was severely jealous of Bill's confidence in himself. First with thinking he was a straight guy who could still have gay friends. Then finding out he himself is gay and being openly romantic with a guy he likes. Jorg was nowhere near being able to do that and even worse he was not at all confident in who he was. So tried his hardest to make Bill feel the way he did about himself. It's really sad, especially because if he'd just came to terms with who he we and lived in his own truth he'd probably have a much better relationship with Bill maybe even with both of his children!
With that in mind I can completely understand why Bill was not as phased by his dad's condition. Even when someone like your parents fall into something like that, it's hard to feel hurt by it. When that person has done everything they could to make you feel less than...
As for he Andreas situation, I am torn because I see what Bill is saying. But I also see where Tom is coming from. But when it comes to victims of any sort of abuse they have to be ready to talk. Even though we are told to speak up when we see someone being hurt or anything of that nature. But when the person is blindsided by someone else giving that information out umtheir first response is to deny it. I feel as though if Andi wasn't able to talk to Bill about it, he might not be willing to speak to authorities about it. But that is also different on every situation. The only problem is this school they go to seems to be after anyone who doesn't fit into their version of "perfect" so I don't know if it would be a good idea to bring it up at school.
This was an amazing chapter as always! I am so captivated by the story. Especially because a lot of the events hold great importance in my life!

I don't mind long reviews they are awesome. I was very surprised by Adam he just kind of appeared out of nowhere and then he was telling Monica who he was and it was like 'oh the last piece of Jorg finally made sense.' I think when parents see the worst of themselves in their children they lash out. We all have things about ourselves that we would like to change and unfortunately we tend to pass that onto our offspring. I also agree with the jealously thing. Jorg saw Bill having a confidence in himself that Jorg himself couldn't master. It must have been so hard for him to understand Bill. I think if Jorg had destroyed Bill it would have made the whole situation worse so if Jorg had been able to embrace all of himself he would have definitely had a better relationship with his children.
rnWhen my mom died ever was like oh you poor dear and I was saddened by her death yes but not as sad as people seemed to think I should be. I didn't have a close relationship with my mother and some of it was similar to what Bill went through with his father.
rnI don't want people to get the wrong idea. I definitely feel like victims should report abuse, rape or anything else unsafe in any interaction they have throughout the day but I also know many don't. Jost used Andreas' insecurities to hurt him and make him feel like he deserved it. I don't think it's approriate to push a victim into talking before they are ready or telling other people before they are ready to share the information. The school will definitely be a big hurdle.
rnI am glad you like the story and that I am able to strike so many cords within your own life. It's nice to know I am not the only one sturggling with these concepts and ideas. I absolutely adore this story and I will be very sad when I actually end it. Thank you for the long review. It makes my day to see someone really think through the chapter and tell me what they think of each piece.
