Author's Response: Everyday 22 veterans commit suicide. To me, that's 22 too many, and no oneshould have to carry that guilt around like that. Sadly, it is a risk we take by signing up.

Author's Response: It's not pointless, I AM in the military, naming specific locations, is a security issue. I can't name certain weapons by type, vehicles, or places. If you don't like it, please don't read or leave rude comments. Thanks.

I was a little disappointed to hear both Tom and Bill profess their lack of interest in getting together but not every one is attracted to each other instantly. So there's hope :)
Author's Response: When you've been on my side of the fence, civilians annoy you and you see their flaws much more easier. That's not to say veterans are flawless by any means. But seeing things from our eyes would make sense in why Tom lacks interest in Bill.

Author's Response: Thank you. I wanted to give a better look at veterans from our side of the fence. You can read stories and accounts of veterans tails all day long...but unless you've been there, you can't fully understand it. Not even I fully understand it, as I have been lucky enough to not be deployed ever.

Wow. That was really brave of Bill to ask him that. It can be a really touchy subject. Also, Ria's a bitch. But like you said, bitches like that unfortunately exist. It can be very straining to a realationship to have that time and distance apart not to mention the dangers of deployment.
