I used to write het only before I finally gave slash a chance, and even though it felt really weird to begin with I ended up loving it. Give it a go, the worst that can happen is that you realise it's not your thing and then you can go back to het :)
Author's Response: I mean when you write it, it comes across as so natural... that's what I aspire to be :D but yeah, you're right... maybe I'll give it a try, I just need an idea to come to my head, and my university to give me some space and a chance to put it down on a paper (or a Word document, anyway, haha) since school has been on my back these days :/

I have to say, that even though I don't normally read het, this was so beautifully written that after giving the first chapter a chance I couldn't stop. This was a wonderful story, bittersweet ending, or okay, pretty damn sad ending even, but it was beautiful. So damn beautiful.
Hell I don't know if you're even a little bit interested in writing slash, but if you ever give it a chance I'm convinced people would love your work, because if someone can make ME like a het story, then their writing is pretty damn amazing.

I've read it about 5 times now and still can't believe you read AND seemed to like my fic :) a simple 'thank you' isn't enough I'm afraid, but still, thanks a lot, I'm happy you gave the story a chance as well! you really made my day :) as for writing a slash fic, I have to say I've never tried to write one, I'm kind of afraid I couldn't make it any good and I've always felt more comfortable in het, to be honest... but well, you never know, right? haha... I rather enjoyed this! Sadly this is not the most popular pairing as far as TH fics go, which is amusing yet puzzling, considering almost every (mostly female, I'm guessing) TH fan out there fancies herself romantically/sexually involved with the band members. Something to think about... HET remains one of my favorite genres, and a period piece is just the thing I need. (I blame Crimson Peak.)
